Part nightclub, part cabaret and part dance studio, Halcyon is certainly not your typical nightlife destination. Located in an old and weathered industrial space on the 11th Street in the South of Market (SoMa) part of San Francisco, this is a versatile dance club where some of the most popular DJs play for an audience of 400 lucky partiers.
Created by restaurant and nightclub maven Gina Milano, Halcyon is an intriguingly versatile space that routinely hosts private functions. Between the brick walls and a steel support structure, this is a club with a tough and raw exterior. But don't be fooled, because the recently-renovated interior offers state-of-the-art technology, comfortable seating, an incredible projection mapping system and a blinding amount of LED lights.
Milano has created a cool world that evokes a retro feel while constantly innovating on the typical nightclub. It's a throwback to a time when nightclubs didn't need gimmicks and the music was king.
