Best of Vegas This Weekend: July 17–19
Tiësto and Marshmello work the pools, Zedd headlines a newly opened dayclub, and the football finale pulls the crowds — a full three-day slate across the Strip.
The desert is running hot and the July calendar is running hotter, with a soccer championship pulling international crowds into every viewing-party pool from Fontainebleau to Encore. Tiësto and Marshmello headline the Saturday daylight, Zedd christens a newly opened dayclub, and the after-dark rooms rotate through techno, open-format, and Latin nights. This is a weekend built for pacing — a long day in the sun, a considered dinner, then one room chosen well rather than three chased poorly. Below, the sequencing that separates the regulars from the tourists.
Friday night
OMNIA Nightclub at Caesars opens the weekend with TWINSICK, a punchy open-format set under the club's kinetic chandelier that draws a dressed, international room. Book dinner first at Carbone Riviera, the Major Food Group seafood room overlooking Bellagio's lake — steps away across the bridge, and the smartest pre-club table on this side of the Strip.
LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau brings Ben Sterling for a deeper, more propulsive house-and-techno night — the room for guests who want a sound rather than a spectacle. Anchor the evening on-property at Mother Wolf, Chef Funke's Roman pasta room, before you head upstairs.
Marquee Nightclub at the Cosmopolitan hands the booth to DJ Irie, a reliably crowd-reading open-format night with the Boulevard views the room is known for. Pair it with a theatrical early seating at Beauty & Essex downstairs — the speakeasy-meets-supper-club setup that eases you into the night.
For a lower-volume Friday, Jewel at Aria runs DJ Lucky Lou. Precede it with Carbone across the water or keep it entirely on-property.
Saturday — day to night
Saturday is a daylight event. Encore Beach Club lands Marshmello for its marquee pool afternoon — the tiered, high-energy spectacle that fills fast, so secure shade early. Newly opened OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars earns explicit billing this weekend with Zedd commanding the decks — a genuine headliner in a fresh room, and the day-scene story worth building an afternoon around. Meanwhile LIV Beach at Fontainebleau counters with Tiësto, a festival-scale name in a poolside setting, while Tao Beach at the Venetian goes hip-hop with TYGA, Marquee Dayclub runs DJ Pauly D, and Palm Tree Beach Club at MGM brings Chris Lake for the house crowd.
For dinner, transition off the LIV Beach afternoon into Cantina Contramar at Fontainebleau — the Mexico City seafood institution, an on-property glide from pool to table.
Then choose your evening room. LIV Nightclub brings Layton Giordani for a serious techno night — the sharpest sound bet on the Strip Saturday. OMNIA Nightclub counters with Deorro, a big-room set for a bigger crowd; dine first at Yellowtail at Bellagio, sushi and the fountains, before crossing the bridge. And Zouk at Resorts World runs a Latin night with LEGADO 7 and Ivan Davalos — live regional Mexican energy in a future-forward room. For a more restrained close, LAVO Italian at the Palazzo makes an elegant late Italian dinner near the Venetian venues.
Sunday wind-down
Sunday leans into the football finale. Encore Beach Club hosts its Summer of Soccer Championship Game Viewing Party, and LIV Beach runs its own FC Championship party with Irv G — both the right kind of communal, day-drinking energy. Keep it easy afterward at Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria with Eric Remy, the more intimate poolside option for a slow afternoon.
Close the weekend with DESEO: Latin Sundays at OMNIA Nightclub if you have one more night in you, or settle into dinner at Delilah at Wynn — the Gatsby-era supper club that rewards a lingering, unhurried table.
The pre-game
The right dinner sets the tempo for everything after it. Carbone Riviera at Bellagio is the move before any Caesars night — steps across the bridge, seafood-forward, and dressed for the room you're heading into. On the north end, Mother Wolf and Cantina Contramar keep a Fontainebleau evening entirely on-property before LIV. And for old-Vegas theater with no club required, Delilah at Wynn remains the most cinematic dining room on the Strip.
