Medellin goes out in two places, and they are not the same night. El Poblado, around Provenza and Parque Lleras, is where visitors land: polished rooms, bottle service, a mixed international crowd. Carrera 70 in Laureles is where the city itself goes: cheaper, louder, overwhelmingly local, and the street is as much a part of the evening as the venues on it.
Knowing which one you want is most of the decision. This is our ranked guide to the eleven Medellin nightclubs we book for 2026, with the neighborhood called out on each so you can pick the night rather than just the room.

The ranked guide
1. Salon Amador (El Poblado)
The city's techno flagship and the room serious electronic crowds name first. The sound system is tuned by Void Acoustics, which tells you where the priorities sit: this is a room built around the music rather than the bottle scene, and it draws a discerning local set alongside visitors who came for a specific booking.

Best for: a proper techno night with sound to match.
2. Dulcinea (Laureles)
A Laureles discoteca that mixes reggaeton, crossover and live shows rather than committing to one format. It sits away from the Poblado circuit, which is the point - the crowd is local and the night is less curated and more energetic for it.

3. MEDALLO CLUB (El Poblado)
On Carrera 35, a few blocks off Provenza, and one of the busiest rooms in the neighborhood on a weekend. The name is the local nickname for the city and the room plays to it: reggaeton and Latin crossover to a young Medellin crowd rather than a tourist one, with the lighting rig and volume to match.

Best for: the busiest Poblado floor on a Friday.
4. Vintrash (El Poblado)
Four floors, four genres and a rooftop, which makes it the most flexible room on this list. A group whose taste is split can move between floors instead of arguing about the booking, and the roof gives you somewhere to go when the main floor gets tight.

Best for: a group that cannot agree on one sound.
5. Perro Negro (El Poblado)
The cult perreo club that outgrew the city and now tours internationally. It is smaller and harder-edged than the polished Poblado rooms around it, and the reggaeton programming is the reason people queue rather than an afterthought.

6. Gusto (El Poblado)
On Parque Lleras itself, and the most straightforwardly polished bottle-service room in the guide. If the brief is a table, a clear sightline and no complications, this is the least risky booking in El Poblado.

7. Cantina La 70 (Laureles)
At the top of the Carrera 70 strip on the Bulevar Libertadores de America, working as a cantina first and a club second. Screens for whatever match is on, long tables, and a floor that turns over to music properly once the football finishes.

Best for: starting early and staying in one place.
8. Tutaina (El Poblado)
On Calle 10, and further into live music and crossover than most of the rooms around it. Vallenato and tropical acts play alongside the DJ program, which gives it a broader and slightly older crowd than the strictly reggaeton rooms nearby.

Best for: live Colombian music rather than a DJ set.
9. Miranda (El Poblado)
On Carrera 41, and one of the few Poblado rooms worth planning a Thursday around. A straightforward big-room club with a heavy lighting and smoke rig, live performance dropped into the night alongside the DJ, and a floor that stays full rather than emptying between sets.

Best for: a Thursday that still feels like a weekend.
10. La Logia (Laureles)
The most theatrical room on Carrera 70. The club brands itself as a brotherhood rather than a venue and commits to it: masked and costumed performers work the floor through the night, and the production goes to pyrotechnics over the dance floor rather than just lights. It carries the highest review volume of any club on the strip.

Best for: perreo with a full production behind it.
11. Julieta (Laureles)
Calls itself a salon de perreo on its own sign, which tells you most of what you need to know. Smaller than the Poblado clubs and not trying to be anything else. The draw is the strip: Carrera 70 is where Medellin goes out rather than where visitors are sent.
