Insomniac has confirmed the debut edition of EDC Colombia for Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026 at the Unidad Deportiva Atanasio Girardot, the stadium complex in the heart of the city. For the Under the Electric Sky crowd that already makes the pilgrimage to Las Vegas every May, this is the closest EDC has ever been to South America, and Medellin, a city built for going out, is the right place for it.

The lineup
Insomniac unveiled an inaugural lineup of 80-plus artists that reads like a cross-section of global dance music.
- Headliners: Alesso, Deadmau5, ILLENIUM, Kaskade, ALOK, and Afrojack B2B Green Velvet lead the bill.
- Techno and hard dance: 999999999, Boris Brejcha, ARTBAT, Nico Moreno, Restricted and Richie Hawtin.
- Trance and progressive: Above and Beyond, Astrix, Cosmic Gate, Infected Mushroom, Hannah Laing and Vini Vici.

The stages
EDC's stage identities travel with the festival. Medellin gets the mainstays: kineticFIELD, circuitGROUNDS, neonGARDEN, bionicJUNGLE and stereoBLOOM. On top of that, the 2026 debut carries stage takeovers from Factory 93 (Insomniac's techno arm), Dreamstate (trance) and Time Warp, one of the most respected names in techno. Between them you can build a completely different weekend depending on whether you chase melodic mainstage or dark, four-to-the-floor rooms.
Where the party goes after the gates close
Medellin does not stop when the festival does. El Poblado, and the Provenza and Parque Lleras blocks in particular, run on electronic music every weekend of the year, so EDC week lands in a city already primed for it.
- Salon Amador is the natural anchor: a serious house and techno room that pulls the international DJ circuit, exactly the crowd EDC brings to town.
- Perro Negro and Vintrash keep Provenza loud and late with reggaeton, perreo and open-format party nights.
- Gusto rounds out the club side for a table-and-bottle night.
- For the daytime and the comedown, Medellin's rooftop bars in El Poblado are where the valley opens up at sunset before the next set.
