Best Restaurants in Cabo 2026: The Ranked Guide
Our ranked guide to the best restaurants in Cabo for 2026, from the clifftop rooms of the Tourist Corridor and the region's only Michelin star to the downtown Baja tables our guests ask for by name.
Why we wrote this guide
Cabo has quietly turned into one of the most serious dining destinations in Mexico, and the range is what makes choosing hard. In a single trip you can eat the region's only Michelin-starred tasting menu on a resort terrace, watch the Pacific detonate against a granite cliff while the kitchen fires wild-caught fish, and split handmade tortillas at a downtown room the Michelin Guide keeps quietly recommending. Los Cabos stretches from the party energy of Cabo San Lucas, up the Tourist Corridor of clifftop resorts, to the art-district calm of San Jose del Cabo, and the best tables are spread across all three. This is our ranked guide to the best restaurants in Cabo for 2026, built from the rooms our guests ask for by name. Every venue below is one we know and send people to. Last updated September 2026.
Looking for the table, not the reading? Each restaurant below links to its own booking page. The order below blends the kitchen with the setting and the occasion each room fits best, not just the accolade count. A note on how Cabo works: each restaurant below has its own page showing how to book it, most through the restaurant's own reservation system. Time your booking around sunset and the tides for the clifftop rooms.
The ranked guide
1. Flora's Field Kitchen (San Jose del Cabo)
The most complete dining experience in Los Cabos, and the rare one that starts in the dirt. Flora's Field Kitchen is the restaurant at the heart of Flora Farms, a working organic farm in the Sierra de la Laguna foothills where the food is grown and cooked a few steps from where it was picked. Lunch under the trees and dinner by lantern light are two different experiences, both worth building a day around. See Flora Farms.
Best for: the long, unhurried Cabo lunch and the farm-to-table pilgrimage.
2. El Farallon (Cabo San Lucas)
No dining room in Baja feels this dramatic. El Farallon is carved straight into the granite cliffs of the Pedregal headland at Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal, fully open-air and set high above the wild Pacific, with the surf rolling in under every course. Come early for the Champagne Terrace before dinner, order the catch of the day picked off ice, and time it for sunset. See El Farallon.
Best for: the milestone dinner and the most cinematic sunset seat in Cabo.
3. Nobu Los Cabos (Cabo San Lucas)
The flagship dining room of Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, set on the Pacific edge of the gated Diamante community. It brings Nobu Matsuhisa's global pedigree, the black cod miso and new-style sashimi that made the name, to one of Baja's most striking beachfront settings. Polished, consistent, and the safe answer when the group wants a known quantity done at a high level. See Nobu Los Cabos.
Best for: a dependable high-end dinner and the Nobu classics on the beach.
4. Acre (San Jose del Cabo)
An open-air restaurant and cocktail bar inside a jungle property of villas and treehouses tucked into the palm groves of the Animas Bajas valley. Turning off the highway feels like slipping into a green pocket of Baja most visitors never find. The cooking is ingredient-driven and sustainability-minded, and the bar program is one of the best in the region. See Acre.
Best for: the atmospheric dinner and a serious cocktail before the table.
5. Cocina del Mar (Cabo San Lucas)
Perched on the clifftops at Esperanza, Auberge Resorts Collection, looking out over two private beaches on Punta Ballena. It runs as restaurant, bar, and lounge at once, with an open-air terrace that puts the sweeping Sea of Cortez view at the center of every visit. Seafood-forward and quietly refined. See Cocina del Mar.
Best for: a refined resort dinner with an ocean-terrace view.
6. Rosa Negra Cabo (Cabo San Lucas)
The dinner that turns into a night out. Rosa Negra Cabo is a celebration of Latin American food, music and energy, with the RosaNegra name also found in Tulum, Cancun, Mexico City and Miami. In Los Cabos it is one of the corridor's marquee scene restaurants: contemporary Latin American cooking, tableside theater, and a room that builds toward music as the night goes on. See Rosa Negra Cabo.
Best for: the celebration dinner that becomes the party.
7. Sunset Monalisa (Cabo San Lucas)
A cliffside, open-air fine-dining room with a straight sightline to Land's End and El Arco, the iconic Cabo Arch, open since 1991. Book the early seating for the sunset over the Arch. See Sunset Monalisa.
Best for: the proposal, the anniversary, the sunset-over-the-Arch dinner.
8. Edith's Restaurant (Cabo San Lucas)
A Cabo institution a block back from Medano Beach, built on Baja California fine dining that folds Guerreran cooking together with serious steaks and seafood, served under candlelit palapas. The tableside Caesar and the flambeed tableside preparations are part of the theater. See Edith's Restaurant.
Best for: old-school Cabo romance and tableside classics.
9. Ilios Greek Estiatorio (Cabo San Lucas)
Whitewashed, island-inspired architecture set high above the water on the Tourist Corridor. It opened in May 2025 and brought a genuine taste of the Greek islands to Baja, with a scene-forward energy that suits a big group. See Ilios Greek Estiatorio.
Best for: the see-and-be-seen group dinner with a view.
10. Metate (Cabo San Lucas)
The value pick with the accolade to match. Metate takes its name from the volcanic stone used to grind maize, and that reverence for the basics runs through a small, deeply popular El Tezal room that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in the Mexico selection for cooking that overdelivers on the price. Book ahead. See Metate.
Best for: the best-value serious meal in Cabo.
11. Arbol (San Jose del Cabo)
A distinction no one can take: the first Asian restaurant to open in Los Cabos, set within Rosewood Las Ventanas al Paraiso. It pairs coastal cooking with Asian and Indian influences, sunken seating, and one of the more design-forward rooms in the region. See Arbol.
Best for: a design-driven dinner away from the corridor norm.
12. Los Tres Gallos (Cabo San Lucas)
Traditional Mexican cooking done with real care in downtown Cabo San Lucas, listed by the Michelin Guide as a recommended restaurant. A warm, hacienda-style room full of family recipes and the kind of mole and slow-cooked dishes that reward ordering wide. See Los Tres Gallos.
Best for: honest, high-quality Mexican in the middle of town.
13. Manta (Cabo San Lucas)
The signature oceanfront restaurant of The Cape, a Thompson Hotel, from Enrique Olvera, the chef behind Pujol and Cosme. Branded Manta by Enrique Olvera, it applies that pedigree to a Baja-meets-Japan-and-Peru menu with one of the best Arch-facing views on the corridor. See Manta.
Best for: a chef-name dinner with a knockout view.
14. Chambao Los Cabos (San Jose del Cabo)
A self-described fashion grillhouse on Paseo Malecon in the San Jose del Cabo hotel zone: an elevated steakhouse wrapped in a scene-forward atmosphere that carries into the night. See Chambao Los Cabos.
Best for: steak with a scene, San Jose side.
15. Comal (Cabo San Lucas)
An open-air terrace restaurant at Chileno Bay Resort & Residences, with tables over the Sea of Cortez and a contemporary Mexican menu built firmly on its Baja surroundings. One of the corridor's most polished resort rooms. See Comal.
Best for: a refined resort dinner on the Chileno Bay side.
16. Romeo y Julieta (Cabo San Lucas)
Cabo San Lucas's enduring Italian institution, a Marina-district ristorante that has drawn visitors and locals since 1986 and fills the gap for genuine, sit-down Italian in a dining scene long dominated by seafood and Mexican tables. The setting is unabashedly romantic, patterned after a hideaway in Tuscany, with an arched entrance, exposed rock walls, vaulted brick ceilings and hand-hewn wooden slab tables, plus a patio open to the stars and live musicians most evenings. The kitchen keeps to classics done well: house-made pastas such as four-cheese gnocchi and seafood linguine, truffle or shrimp risotto, a long list of pizzas led by the house pizza served since 1986, and a Caesar salad for two prepared at the table. Book ahead and request the patio for the full effect. See Romeo y Julieta.
Best for: the easygoing Italian celebration and big-table dinner near the Marina.

Planning a night in Cabo
Cabo dining rewards a little strategy: the clifftop rooms are sunset properties, the downtown and Medano tables run later and louder, and the best kitchens book out in high season. Each restaurant's page has its booking link, so reserve as early as it allows and time the clifftop tables around sunset.
