Bar Esquina beats at the heart of the Bahia Hotel & Beach House, an all-day room just steps from Medano Beach in Cabo San Lucas. It draws locals and travelers alike, the kind of place the hotel itself calls its heart and soul. The room runs the full arc of the day, from morning coffee to a social, music-filled dinner service.
Mornings begin at the coffee shop, with a house blend of Chiapas coffee, fresh juices, smoothies and just-baked pastries. Through the afternoon there are tacos, sandwiches and salads, and by evening the open kitchen sends out wood-fired pizzas, the grilled catch of the day and prime steaks, all a few paces from the sand.
The kitchen is led by executive chef Mariano Takinami, whose Baja-Mediterranean menu leans on local bounty and fresh seafood. The wine list runs more than 250 labels, backed by a craft cocktail program built for slow evenings. As the sun drops, the lights dim, live music plays every night and the room stays buzzing and firmly social.
