Best of Vegas This Weekend: July 24–26
A heat-soaked July slate with ODESZA at Encore Beach, Chris Lake christening OMNIA Dayclub, and 50 Cent poolside at LIV Beach.
The desert is running hot and the calendar is running hotter. This is peak-season Vegas, when the residencies stack three-deep and the pool decks open at breakfast and don't quiet until well after dark. ODESZA brings its DJ set to Encore Beach Club, Chris Lake takes the decks at the newly opened OMNIA Dayclub, and 50 Cent turns LIV Beach into a headline event. Below, a considered path through three days across the Strip's strongest rooms.
Friday night
Start with OMNIA at Caesars, where NIIKO X SWAE work the main room's open-format energy under the chandelier — a confident, bass-forward night for a crowd that comes to be seen. Steps away across the bridge, book an early table at Yellowtail at Bellagio for sushi and a fountain view before you cross over.
At Fontainebleau, LIV Nightclub hosts Prospa, the UK duo delivering the kind of driving house that suits the room's vertical drama. Anchor the evening on-property first at Mother Wolf, where chef Funke's Roman pastas make the smartest possible prelude.
For something more intimate, Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan brings Jonas Blue and his melodic, radio-literate sets. Pair with an early dinner at Beauty & Essex downstairs — the speakeasy theatrics set the tone before you head up.
If your taste runs to hip-hop, Hakkasan at MGM Grand opens the weekend with DJ E-Rock. Precede it with a proper steak at the Golden Steer, the 1958 Rat Pack room a short ride away.
Saturday — day to night
The pool scene is the main event on Saturday, and the billing is deep. OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars — OMNIA Dayclub, the property's newly opened deck — hands its decks to Chris Lake, one of the strongest house draws in the city, and it deserves top billing this afternoon. At Encore Beach Club, ODESZA brings a DJ set to the tiered pool for a lush, atmospheric daytime. Over at LIV Beach, 50 Cent headlines a full-scale poolside spectacle, while Marquee Dayclub counters with Adventure Club and Tao Beach hosts Alesso. For a smoother tempo, Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria runs Kid Conrad as Aria's adult escape.
By evening, dinner sets the pace. Book Delilah at Wynn for supper-club glamour before crossing to XS territory, or settle into LAVO Italian at Palazzo.
For the late move, EBC at Night transforms the Encore deck into an open-air club with Slander and their heavier, emotional bass — a distinct alternative to the indoor rooms.
At Zouk, Resorts World brings RL Grime for a genre-spanning trap and bass set that rewards a committed crowd.
And OMNIA keeps Saturday moving with DJ Pauly D on the main floor — pair the night with a pre-club dinner at Yellowtail at Bellagio, again just across the bridge.
Sunday wind-down
Ease into the day at LIV Beach, where the Sunday Circuit x Coffee & Chill session with Mikey Francis offers a softer, sun-forward tempo. For a livelier close, OMNIA hosts DESEO: Latin Sundays, a reliably warm reggaeton-and-Latin-house night.
Keep dinner unhurried at Cantina Contramar inside Fontainebleau — Mexico City's iconic seafood house, and the natural pairing before or after LIV Beach's Sunday session.
The pre-game
The right table makes the night. For Fontainebleau evenings, Mother Wolf and Cantina Contramar keep you on-property and on-tempo. When the destination is XS or Encore Beach Club, Delilah at Wynn delivers Gatsby-era theater with a live band. And for a Cosmopolitan night at Marquee, Beauty & Essex hides its dining room behind a working pawn shop — a fitting opening act.
