Why the pool calendar matters
Vegas pool club season is the most calendar-driven part of the nightlife year, and most of the bad bookings we see come from treating it like a flat seven-month window. It is not. The Strip pools run roughly March through October, and inside that window you have the artist rotation cycling through every weekend, themed Sundays that move the industry crowd, headliner Saturdays that move prices, and a closing-party stretch in October that books out weeks ahead. The weekend you choose can be the difference between a standard daybed and a premium cabana at several times the minimum, for the same room.

The season shape
The season opens late March or early April, and most pools run weekends-only for the first six to eight weeks. Saturday is the headliner day, Friday is the lighter build, and Sunday moves the industry crowd. If you are in town in April or early May, plan around Saturday and expect some rooms to still be settling their schedules.
The anchor weekends that move pricing
Standard weekend minimums hold steady through the summer. They spike for the anchor weekends, and those are not negotiable: pricing is set months out and the rooms know they will fill.
- Memorial Day weekend: the opening peak, every major pool running, season-opener headliners booked.
- Fourth of July: a full holiday-weekend spike across the Strip.
- EDC week (third weekend of May): not the festival itself, but the pools run festival-aligned programming with the headliners spinning dayclub sets between EDC. The heaviest stretch outside Labor Day.
- Labor Day weekend: the biggest weekend of the season, three days of headliner programming, every price ceiling tested.
- Halloween closing parties: the last hurrah for the outdoor pools, costume crowds and farewell headliner sets before the season closes.
The pricing below is for standard, non-holiday, non-event weekends. Anchor weekends run well above these bands.
Standard weekend pricing, pool by pool
These are the minimum-spend bands we see on standard weekends. Friday and Sunday run similar; Saturday is the peak. A daybed sits at the low end, a premium or stage-adjacent cabana at the high end.
- LIV Beach (Fontainebleau): Friday 500 to 5K, Saturday 1,500 to 20K. The highest-energy room and the top of the current rotation (Dom Dolla, John Summit, David Guetta, Tiesto).
- Encore Beach Club (Encore at Wynn): Friday 750 to 10K, Saturday 1K to 20K. The biggest stage and the loudest production on the Strip.
- OMNIA Dayclub (Caesars Palace): Friday 750 to 4K, Saturday 1K to 15K. The newest pool, booking the top Tao Group rotation (Martin Garrix, Zedd, Tiesto, Fisher).
- Palm Tree Beach Club (MGM Grand): Friday 500 to 3K, Saturday 1,500 to 10K. Kygo's melodic beach club, with Kygo anchoring select weekends.
- Tao Beach (The Venetian): Friday 500 to 3K, Saturday 1,500 to 8K. A designed, hip-hop-forward room with the Tao Group service standard.
- Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan): Friday 500 to 4K, Saturday 1K to 6K. The rooftop view and the most reliable mid-tier Sunday option.
- Liquid Pool Lounge (Aria): Friday 250 to 2,500, Saturday 750 to 4K. The intimate 21-and-over pool at Aria.
- Tailgate Beach Club (Mandalay Bay): Friday 250 to 2,500, Saturday 250 to 2,500. The casual, sports-forward option, steady across the week.

Book the room sound, not just the headliner
The DJ-to-room pairings shift through the season, and we will not pretend a specific 2026 slot is locked until the pool posts its calendar. What is stable is the room-to-sound pairing, and that is what you book against:
- LIV Beach runs the current top-of-rotation EDM energy and the newest artist bookings.
- OMNIA Dayclub and Tao Beach book the top Tao Group rotation, OMNIA leaning big-room EDM and Tao Beach hip-hop-forward.
- Palm Tree is the melodic, tropical-house room, anchored by Kygo.
- Encore Beach Club books the established big-name headliners and runs the loudest production.
- Marquee Dayclub leans open-format and sustains midweek better than the EDM-pure rooms.
- Liquid stays intimate EDM, which is its whole pitch.
Book the room sound first. The specific headliner is the bonus.
Closing-party season is the highest-leverage book-ahead
The outdoor pools publish their closing calendars four to six weeks out, minimums hit anchor-weekend levels, and the residency names come back for farewell sets. This is the single best book-ahead window of the year. If you can move on the announcement, you lock the cabana you want at a price that holds. Wait until the week of and you are picking from leftovers at peak rates.
