Tao Beach reopened at The Venetian on April 1, 2022, after a two-year reinvention by Rockwell Group that more than doubled its size. The venue is about 47,000 square feet of Asian-inspired tropical garden, with lush planting and two fifteen-foot sculptures by Daniel Popper: a pair of hands at the entrance and a tree goddess that greets guests at the main bar.
Cabanas come in a few forms. Some share a communal plunge pool, others have a dedicated plunge pool and unobstructed views of the deck, and a set sits directly behind the DJ booth. For dinner, Bazaar Meat, BOA and COTE are all in the complex.
Tao Beach runs Thursday through Sunday in season, March through October. Thursdays are Daybreak Thursdays, and the headline names from EDM and hip-hop land on the weekends: Zedd, Louis the Child and Don Diablo are on the September and October calendar, and Sundays go to DJs such as Justin Credible and DJ E-Rock. Alesso, ILLENIUM and Fisher were the inaugural residents in 2022.
Reservable areas include the bungalows, the lotus cabanas, the Tendai lounge, the prime daybeds, the daybeds and the terrace tables, along with a handful of others. A minimum spend is the food and beverage minimum you commit to ordering, with tax, venue fee and gratuity added on top. Lotus Cabana
Lotus cabanas are elevated from the center of the venue, overlooking the main pool with a direct view of the stage and the pool deck.
