The spread inside a single pool is enormous, and it is mostly about placement and day. A daybed set back from the water on a Thursday can sit near that $500 floor; a front-row cabana on the pool on a headliner Saturday is a different animal entirely. Beach clubs and the biggest-name Saturdays - think Encore Beach Club, Omnia Dayclub, LIV Beach, Marquee Dayclub - carry the top minimums when a major DJ is on. Quieter or midweek sessions at rooms like Tao Beach, Ayu Dayclub, Liquid Pool Lounge, Palm Tree Beach Club, and Tailgate Beach Club are where the value plays sit.
Meeting the minimum: the bottle ladder
You hit that minimum by ordering bottles, and the same menu math applies at the pool as after dark. A workhorse vodka - Grey Goose, Belvedere, Ketel One - runs about $850 to $925, and that is the bottle most groups use to hit a number without overthinking it. Tequila starts near $950 to $1,025 for an entry reposado and climbs fast, with premium extra anejos running $3,795 to $3,900 and ultra-premium bottles past $8,000. Champagne opens around $700 to $795 for a recognizable label, with Dom Perignon from roughly $1,295 and the photographed names - Cristal, Ace of Spades - near $2,250 to $2,295.
Then there is the format play. That same Ace of Spades poured from a large-format bottle stops being a $2,300 order and becomes the sparkler-parade spectacle - large formats run from roughly $15,800 up to $36,000 for a showpiece pour. Same label, more than fifteen times the price. At a pool that is a lot of money to watch melt in the sun, so know it is on the menu before someone orders the magnum "for the table."
The line at the bottom of the menu
Printed in small type is the sentence that changes the math. Whatever minimum you agree to, plan on adding anywhere between 38% and 43% in tax, venue fees, and gratuity on top. Gratuity alone runs 15% to 20%. So a "$2,000 cabana" is closer to $2,800 all-in, and the number a random promoter quoted you is never the number that hits your card. What actually drives your price
Five levers, in order of impact:
- The day. Saturdays and event weekends carry the highest minimums; a midweek daybed can cost a fraction of a Saturday cabana in the same pool.
- The DJ. A headliner pool party prices differently than a resident afternoon in the same room.
- Placement. Front-row on the water and the pool-stage cabanas are the premium; a daybed set back is the value play for the same day.
- Group size. The minimum is a spend commitment, not a per-person cover - the more people splitting it, the better it reads per head.
