EDC Las Vegas 2027 Preview: What to Expect
EDC Las Vegas 2027 goes to two weekends: Dusk May 14-16 and Dawn May 21-23. What the split changes, the headliners to expect, and why to plan the pools early.
The dates are set, and 2027 is a different animal
EDC Las Vegas 2027 is official, and it is the biggest change to the festival in its history: for the first time, it runs two weekends instead of one. Here are the dates to build around.
- EDC Dusk (first weekend): May 14 to 16, 2027
- EDC Dawn (second weekend): May 21 to 23, 2027
Both weekends run at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and they are wrapped inside a 12-day "Dusk Till Dawn" stretch, May 13 to 24, with EDC-themed events happening across the city between the two festival weekends. We are getting ahead of this early on purpose: the best pools, cabanas, and tables for EDC week go first, and now there are two weekends of them.
What the two-weekend format actually changes
The lineup is the same across both weekends, so Dusk and Dawn are not two different festivals; they are the same festival, run twice. That is good news for planning. If one weekend does not work, the other one gives you the identical show, and you can pick the weekend that fits your travel and your crew instead of fighting the whole city for a single Saturday.
The split is also built to make the weekend easier to physically do. Spreading the crowd across two weekends means lower capacity on any given night, which eases the part of EDC that has always been the hardest: getting 150,000-plus people in and out of the Speedway. For anyone who has sat in the ingress and egress crawl, that alone is a reason the two-weekend model matters.
For the pools and the Strip, two weekends means two full rounds of everything: two rounds of pre-parties, two rounds of pool headliner days, and two rounds of cabana and table demand. The good inventory will move even earlier than it did for a single-weekend EDC. If you are the type who plans ahead, this is the year it pays off most.
What to expect from the lineup
The full 2027 lineup drops closer to the festival, but the shape of it is easy to read from who anchors EDC week every year. Expect the same tier of headliners across the pools and the clubs: names like Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Zedd, FISHER, John Summit, and Dom Dolla, alongside the rotating festival-affiliated roster that fills out the daytime pool calendars. We are not guessing at who lands where yet, but the caliber of talent is set whichever weekend you choose.
What will not change
The rhythm of EDC week is the part you can plan around right now, because it holds every year: the festival is at the Speedway at night, the pools are the prime daytime events, the Strip nightclubs run quieter at night while the crowd is at the raceway, and the tail of each weekend lands on the closing parties. Two weekends does not change the shape of a day; it just gives you two of them.

Where the week actually gets booked
EDC itself is a ticket, not a reservation. What needs booking that week is everything around
it, and those commit earlier than the festival does. The afterparties run at
OMNIA, XS and
Zouk, and the daylight hours before the gates reopen
belong to Encore Beach Club and
Marquee Dayclub.
Why plan EDC 2027 early
With the dates locked and two weekends to fill, the pool guest lists, cabanas, and prime daybeds for the headliner days will go earlier than ever, and prices climb as the windows fill. Get on our radar now and we will flag you the moment the pool calendars post, then build the daytime around the headliner and the weekend you want, with the real minimum quoted up front and a deposit link to secure it. For this festival, early is the whole game.
