XS opened at Encore on New Year's Eve 2008 and was the highest-grossing nightclub in the United States for several years after. The design takes its cue from the curves of the human body, and the club surrounds Encore's European pool, with lavish indoor seating on one side and the pool deck on the other. On Night Swim events the pools are open and heated, and swimwear is the dress code.
It is dark at the moment. XS closed for a top-to-bottom renovation and reopens on Thursday, November 5, 2026, with a four-night opening run: RUFUS DU SOL (DJ set) on November 5, The Chainsmokers on November 6, Calvin Harris on November 7 and Diplo b2b Hugel on November 8.
Calvin Harris is on a two-year residency at XS and Encore Beach Club that began in 2026, and he returns on November 21 and New Year's Eve. Kaskade, Marshmello, Diplo, The Chainsmokers, Hugel and Loud Luxury fill out the rest of the fall calendar. Once it reopens, XS typically runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 p.m., with some Thursday dates for special events.

Where it sits: Dead center of the venue, with an upper and a lower owners option.

Full-sized U-shaped booths located directly on the dance floor, with direct views of the DJ.
