The current room (indoor + pool deck) is operating through the end of July, then closes for a 90-day technological refurbishment, then reopens November 5 with the strongest grand-opening weekend a Vegas nightclub has booked in years. The XS 2026 refurbishment, as we understand it
What we are hearing from industry sources: XS at Encore is closing for a 90-day technological refurbishment starting at the end of July 2026, with a grand re-opening scheduled for the weekend of November 5, 2026. Expect a formal Wynn announcement closer to the closure date. The refurbishment is technological rather than structural, which means the room footprint and signature features (the pool-deck connection, the indoor dance environment) stay, while the production, lighting, sound, and visual systems get a generation-jumping upgrade.
Confirmed grand re-opening weekend talent (what we are hearing):
Wednesday November 5 (grand re-opening): Rufus Du Sol
Friday November 6: The Chainsmokers
Saturday November 7: Calvin Harris
This is one of the strongest opening weekends a Las Vegas nightclub has booked in years. Demand for the relaunch weekend will run ahead of the venue's public booking flow. We will start taking placement requests for the relaunch weekend through MyRSVP the moment a confirmed table map opens; expect placements for the relaunch Saturday to sell through inside 48 hours of map release.
The post-refurb floor plan and pricing have not been published. We will update this guide the week the new room confirms.
The all-in cost math at XS
XS at Encore runs the standard non-Tao-Group bill structure. Your quoted minimum is the first line; the venue fee, gratuity, and sales tax land on top:
Minimum spend on the table
15 percent venue fee added on top of the minimum
15 percent gratuity for your server and bottle hostess
8.375 percent Clark County sales tax applied to the minimum plus the venue fee (the sales tax stacks on the subtotal that already includes the venue fee)
Worked example for a $1,000 minimum at XS:
Minimum: $1,000
Venue fee (15 percent): $150
Subtotal: $1,150
Sales tax (8.375 percent of $1,150): $96.31
Gratuity (15 percent of the minimum): $150
All-in total: $1,396.31
That works out to roughly 1.39x to 1.40x the quoted minimum, or about 39.6 percent on top. A $5,000 minimum lands at $6,982 all-in. A $10,000 prime placement lands at $13,963.
XS pre-refurb pricing (valid through end of July 2026)
The current XS configuration runs two bottle environments in tandem: the indoor dance environment and the pool deck. Both contribute to the Friday-Saturday standard band.
Indoor placements
Indoor table inventory at XS runs in a $5,000 to $12,000 standard weekend band. The booth-adjacent and dance-floor-edge tables anchor the upper half ($8,000 to $12,000) and the perimeter tables anchor the lower half ($5,000 to $8,000). The indoor room is what most guests picture when they think XS: production-heavy, full Wynn-budget light show, the marquee Strip nightclub experience.
Group fit: 8 to 14 guests.
Standard weekend all-in: $7,225 to $17,250.
Pool deck and cabanas
Pool-deck tables and cabanas at XS run in a $2,000 to $8,000 standard weekend band. Pool deck standard tables anchor the lower half ($2,000 to $4,000); cabanas adjacent to the dance environment anchor the upper half ($5,000 to $8,000). The pool deck is the right pick for groups who want the XS room access without the indoor budget, or for warm-month nights when the deck-side energy lifts.
Cabanas at XS have more flexibility than the indoor floor plan because the deck inventory is more granular. We can place 6 to 12 tops at minimums the indoor build does not always offer.
Group fit: 4 to 10 guests for deck tables; 8 to 16 for cabanas.
Standard weekend all-in: $2,900 to $11,500.
XS headliner nights and residency programming
XS 2026 calendar leading into the closure runs Deadmau5 and Gryffin as the most-booked confirmed residencies, with the full schedule lighter than normal because of the closure planning. Headliner Saturdays through end of July typically run the indoor band at the upper end ($10,000 to $12,000 prime) and pool-deck cabanas at $6,000 to $8,000.
The post-relaunch (November 5 onward) program will be confirmed when the new room releases. Based on the grand-opening weekend talent (Rufus Du Sol, Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris), the room appears to be returning to the marquee-EDM positioning XS held in the late 2010s. We will publish the confirmed post-relaunch residency program once it lands.
Anchor weekends through end of July 2026
Through end of July, XS is one of the four LV nightclubs that scales aggressively on anchor weekends (Omnia, XS, Hakkasan, LIV). The remaining anchor weekends in the pre-refurb window:
Independence Day weekend (early July)
July 4 weekend at XS runs indoor prime in the $10,000 to $20,000 band and pool-deck cabanas in the $5,000 to $10,000 band. Three-day weekend programming with day-and-night pairings; we can package XS night with an Encore Beach Club day for the same weekend.
EDC 2026 (third weekend of May, already passed)
EDC week 2026 ran indoor prime in the $15,000 to $25,000 range with the post-festival night programming commanding the upper bands. Pool-deck cabanas ran $8,000 to $15,000. For reference, EDC 2027 (when the post-refurb room is open) will likely re-rate higher given the new production budget.
XS post-relaunch grand re-opening weekend (November 5-7, 2026)
Wednesday November 5 grand re-opening: Rufus Du Sol. This is the marquee opening night. Expect indoor minimums to set the post-refurb high-water mark; we are hearing indoor prime in the $20,000 to $40,000 range with same-week placement unlikely.
Friday November 6: The Chainsmokers. Standard Friday-elevation for a marquee EDM headliner, indoor prime in the $15,000 to $25,000 range.
Saturday November 7: Calvin Harris. Calvin Harris Saturday at the relaunch is the densest-demand single night of the post-refurb window. Indoor prime in the $25,000 to $50,000 range; we expect the room to sell through 2 to 4 weeks ahead of the date.
These ranges are forward estimates based on what comparable LV grand re-openings have priced at; the venue will confirm pricing at the moment of map release. Book the grand re-opening weekend through MyRSVP as soon as the room confirms; the public booking flow will be ahead of the table-map publication for the marquee nights.
F1 weekend 2026 (mid-November, immediately post-relaunch)
F1 weekend lands November 20-22, 2026, which is two weeks after the XS relaunch. Indoor prime is likely to run in the $20,000 to $40,000 band given the combination of new-room demand and F1 race weekend. Pool-deck cabanas (if operating in November) will likely run $10,000 to $20,000.
NYE 2026
NYE at the post-relaunch XS will likely run indoor prime in the $30,000 to $50,000 band, with the new-room premium folded in. Book 12 to 16 weeks ahead.
How to get the best table at XS
A few patterns from running XS bookings through MyRSVP:
Pre-refurb pool deck is the value play right now. Through end of July, the pool-deck cabana inventory at XS is significantly more flexible than the indoor floor plan. We can place 6 to 12 tops at minimums the indoor build does not always offer.
Relaunch weekend requires immediate action. For the Rufus Du Sol Wednesday, Chainsmokers Friday, or Calvin Harris Saturday in the November 5-7 grand re-opening window, request placement the moment Wynn opens the map. The public booking flow will not surface the best placements for these three nights.
Encore Beach Club pairing. Through end of July, an XS Saturday pairs naturally with an Encore Beach Club Saturday or Sunday for the full Wynn nightlife day. We can package the bookings. Post-relaunch, the pairing returns when EBC's 2027 season opens.
Avoid the closure window for an Encore stay. If your trip lands in August-October 2026, the XS nightlife is offline. Plan for Omnia, Hakkasan, LIV, or Zouk during that window; XS returns November 5.

Why is my XS bill higher than the quoted minimum?
Because the venue fee, gratuity, sales tax stack on top. Use 1.39x to 1.40x as the conversion from quoted minimum to all-in.
Can I book XS during the August-October 2026 closure?
No. XS is closed for refurbishment. We can route you to Omnia at Caesars Palace, Hakkasan at MGM, LIV at Fontainebleau, or Zouk at Resorts World as alternatives during that window.
How early can I reserve the November 5 grand re-opening?
We are taking pre-confirmation interest now. As soon as Wynn confirms the new room floor plan and prices, we route the requests. Expect a 2-to-4-week window between map confirmation and the relaunch weekend.
What is the cheapest XS night for indoor bottle service?
Through end of July, the soft-night programs (typically Wednesday) run indoor placements at the low end of the $5,000 to $12,000 band. Post-relaunch, the equivalent soft night will be announced with the new program.
Are pool-deck cabanas at XS cheaper than indoor tables?
Yes through end of July. Pool-deck standard tables run $2,000 to $4,000; cabanas adjacent to the dance environment run $5,000 to $8,000. Indoor tables run $5,000 to $12,000. Post-relaunch, the pool-deck inventory and pricing will be confirmed with the new room.
Will the post-refurb XS be more expensive than the current room?
Based on what we are hearing, yes. The technological refurbishment is a generation jump in production budget, and the grand-opening weekend talent (Rufus Du Sol, Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris) signals the room is returning to marquee-EDM positioning. Expect the post-relaunch standard band to run 20 to 40 percent above the pre-refurb band.
How far in advance should I book XS for the relaunch weekend?
