Summer League is the loudest week on the Vegas calendar that nobody outside the basketball industry sees. From Friday July 10 through Monday July 20, 2026, every NBA franchise plus a fleet of G-League affiliates, agents, scouts, capologists, podcasters, and broadcast crews compresses into the city around UNLV's Cox Pavilion and Thomas and Mack Center. Games run morning to night. Dinner reservations are how the actual work happens. Strip restaurants close to UNLV book full for the week by mid-June every year. That is not Vegas hyperbole. It is a real capacity ceiling. The Cosmopolitan, Aria, and Wynn properties absorb most of the front-office traffic because that is where the team hotels are. Nightclub overlay
Summer League nights run later than regular Strip weekends because the player and agent presence shifts the music programming. OMNIA at Caesars runs its strongest residency lineup on Summer League weekends. LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau anchors the newer-property scene. XS at Encore is where the agents and capologists actually go after dinner. Quieter than the Strip mega-clubs but still hosting global-DJ headliners. Viewing parties and secondary dining
Plenty of basketball people in town are not credentialed for the arenas.
