Tropical dayclub at MGM Grand, open Wednesday through Sunday in the former Wet Republic space.
Palm Tree Beach Club opened at MGM Grand on May 3, 2025, taking over the pool deck that Wet Republic used to occupy. It sits beyond the MGM Grand pools at the end of The District and is open Wednesday through Sunday, from 11am on Fridays and Saturdays and from noon on the other days.
The look is tropical, with a ground-level stage, a saltwater pool at the center and separate pools and spas around the deck. Several of the reservable areas face the booth directly: the Coastal Cabanas overlook the main pool and the DJ, and the Seaside Tables sit at the edge of the pool in view of the dance area.
The bigger names mostly land on Saturdays, and Kygo, Alesso, Martin Garrix, Blond:ish and Steve Aoki have all been on the 2026 calendar. Fridays are Good Life Fridays, built on hip-hop, R&B and current hits, and Wednesdays are Drift Wednesdays, a locals day with free entry for Nevada ID holders.
Reservable areas run from the Beach Villas on the top level, with their own plunge pools, to the Coastal Cabanas, the shaded Driftwood Den, the Ocean Bed daybeds and the Seaside and Shore Tables near the dance floor.
