Vegas Pool Party Day Strategy: Saturday vs Sunday at Every Big Dayclub 2026
Which Vegas pool day to book and where to sit, from Friday and Sunday value to the Saturday peak, with our best-table pick at every Strip pool.
Why we wrote this guide
A Vegas pool day comes down to two decisions: which day, and which seat. Saturday is the peak, Friday and Sunday are the value plays, and the right table changes the day more than the venue does. This guide walks the strategy and gives you our best-table pick at each of the Strip's pools. Up front: we do not hold dayclub tables for anyone. We match your group to the right pool and the right seat, then secure it. Last updated July 2026.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Friday and Sunday are the value days, the lower-volume days in Vegas. Most groups fly in Friday afternoon or night and leave by Sunday afternoon, especially from the West Coast, which is exactly why Friday and Sunday run softer: you get a better rate, but you are less likely to catch a major artist unless it is a holiday or a special-event weekend like EDC. Saturday is the day the headliners and the crowd concentrate.
The simplest way to think about it: Friday is the warm-up, Saturday is the day to rage, and Sunday is the hangover cure before you head out of town. Sunday leans hip-hop-forward at Tao Beach, and Palm Tree recently launched a top-40 Friday pool day, so the value days still have a scene.
The pools, and where to sit
1. LIV Beach (Fontainebleau)
The arena-style room with arguably the best energy on the Strip when a headliner is on. LIV Beach has the largest variety of inventory in town: balcony and mezzanine tables, club tables, beach cabanas, stage cabanas, upper and lower villas with private pools and private restrooms, plus the dancefloor, poolside couches, and deck daybeds. Best table: a poolside couch to be in the carnage, a lower villa for the shade, private restroom, and water accents, or a stage cabana to be eye-level with your artist. See LIV Beach.
2. OMNIA Dayclub (Caesars Palace)
Poolside couches, dancefloor tables, and daybeds make up most of the room, with villas on both sides and stage cabanas and tables surrounding the DJ. Best table: a poolside couch or one of the villas, though note the OMNIA Dayclub villas are smaller than in-town competitors' premium offerings and open to the neighbor beside you. See OMNIA Dayclub.
3. Palm Tree Beach Club (MGM Grand)
Arguably one of the best layouts in the Vegas pool scene: you can see everyone from pretty much any location in the venue. Inventory runs ocean beds, shore tables, seaside tables, the driftwood den (a lounge table), coastal cabanas with water, and premium and regular villas, with premium on the south side where there is the most action. Best table: a premium villa, the driftwood den, or a shore table, which is their version of a dancefloor table in the mix. See Palm Tree Beach Club.
4. Tao Beach (The Venetian)
Bungalows, lotus cabanas, daybeds, prime daybeds, terrace tables, and a lounge are the options. Programming runs hip-hop on Sundays, a variety of artists on Fridays, and traditionally a top-40 or EDM act on Saturdays. Best table: a bungalow or a prime daybed. See Tao Beach.
5. Encore Beach Club (Encore at Wynn)
The inventory ladder runs beach couch (entry level), then daybeds and lily pads, L couches, a gaming lounge, dancefloor water couches, the dancefloor, cabanas (lower and upper), and bungalows (lower and upper). All the cabanas and bungalows have restrooms, but only the four lower bungalows have private water. One thing the talent buyers do not protect is the Sunday: Encore's Friday is arguably the best welcome-to-Vegas event of the weekend, not the Sunday. Best table: water couches, center lily pads, or, if you have the dough, a lower bungalow to cool off in. See Encore Beach Club.
6. Marquee Dayclub (The Cosmopolitan)
Daybeds, premium daybeds, cabanas, and grand cabanas with water are the primary seating. Marquee sits in the mid-Strip middle pricing tier with middle DJ talent, and the thing that sets it apart is that it is open seven days a week. Best table: a prime daybed along the water in front of the DJ, or a grand cabana on the left-hand side of the venue with a private plunge pool, the best overall amenity here. See Marquee Dayclub.
7. Liquid Pool Lounge (Aria)
Table options run daybed, poolside daybed, deck table, poolside couch, cabana, and bungalow. Programming is top-40 leaning, not EDM, so if you want the big-production pool day, OMNIA Dayclub and LIV Beach are the rooms, not Liquid. Best table: a poolside couch or a bungalow, which have the larger area and water feature that work for a bigger party. See Liquid Pool Lounge.
8. Tailgate Beach Club (Mandalay Bay)
A newer, sports-forward beach club with a casual lean, a good pick for a looser group day. See Tailgate Beach Club.
9. AYU Dayclub (Resorts World)
Unfortunately, AYU has dropped to a special-event venue and is not operationally open the way it was in its first four years. When it does run, the best tables are the owner's cabanas or the upper cabanas if you prefer to be set back from the riff-raff. See AYU Dayclub.
What the seats cost
Pricing is driven by the day and the seat. A daybed is the entry, a cabana or bungalow or villa is the higher spend with the best amenity, and the gap between the tiers is traditionally a few thousand dollars. Friday and Sunday run softer, Saturday is premium. For the pool-by-pool minimum ranges, see our Vegas pool party pricing and calendar guide, and for the full cabana and bottle math, the bottle service prices, tables and minimums guide.
Picking your day
If you are after value and a good time, Friday or Sunday is the move. If you want the best pool-party experience in Las Vegas, it is a Saturday. The headliners, the crowd, and the energy all concentrate there.
Frequently asked
What is the difference between a daybed and a cabana?
Daybeds are great for smaller groups, traditionally up to six people. Cabanas, bungalows, and villas are the higher spends and are best for larger groups or anyone who wants the best overall amenity. The gap between the tiers is traditionally a few thousand dollars. Only Encore Beach Club runs lily pads.
Can we move from the pool to the nightclub?
Yes, and the cleanest way is to stay on property for the synergy: OMNIA Dayclub into OMNIA, Palm Tree into Hakkasan, Encore Beach Club into XS, and LIV Beach into LIV are the best same-property pairings, so you can experience both with the convenience of never leaving the property.
What is the dress code?
The stricter points are no jeans or long pants, no basketball shorts or athletic wear, and no excessive jewelry. We set the exact expectations with your booking.
What if it rains?
If the venue is operationally open, no refunds are traditionally offered, and it is handled case by case.
How MyRSVP handles your booking

We follow the same process as the nightlife side: we discuss what you want, we quote it accordingly, you decide, and we send you a 20 percent deposit link to secure the reservation. From there we set your expectations, the arrival time and who to see at the front door if it is not one of us, and then you are expedited to your table to start ordering, eating, and drinking.
