The 17 Best Nightclubs in Tokyo (2026)
Seventeen Tokyo nightclubs for a VIP table in 2026, from Zouk Tokyo in Ginza and WARP Shinjuku in Kabukicho to WOMB in Shibuya and the Roppongi clubs.
Why we wrote this guide
Tokyo's club nights begin late and finish near dawn. Across the seventeen clubs below, most doors open at 22:00 or 23:00 and most rooms play on until 04:30 or 05:00. They sit in Roppongi and Azabujuban, Ginza, Shibuya and Shinjuku, with three of them in Kabukicho.
Four carry DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs placings: Zouk Tokyo (No. 51 in 2026), WARP Shinjuku (No. 73 in 2026), WOMB (No. 88 in 2026) and ZEROTOKYO (No. 87 in 2025). Around them sit Roppongi rooms built for table service, a basement club in Azabujuban with a long roll of headline guests, and Harlem, a Shibuya hip-hop club open since 1997.
The door matters here. At most of these clubs entry is 20 and over with photo ID checked at the door, so carry a passport or other photo ID, and several doors turn away sandals, tank tops and sportswear.

The ranked guide
1. Zouk Tokyo (Ginza)

Zouk Tokyo is the Tokyo outpost of the Singapore-born Zouk club brand, on the second and third basement floors of Granbell Square in Ginza. It launched in 2023 and entered DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll at No. 51 in 2026. The club spans two basement levels with a capacity of 1,000: B3 holds the main floor, with tables set on the premium stage and around the upper and lower dance floor, and B2 is a mezzanine with its own tables and standing tables. Sound runs through a Void Acoustics system, with LED screens and lighting carried across the ceiling and walls.
Bookings mix Japanese DJs with international headliners, and the club has hosted Kaskade, Gorgon City, Miss Monique, YOUNA and WUKONG. The calendar pairs headline DJ nights with the club's own themed parties through the week, and special event nights are added around holidays and the end of the year. Zouk Tokyo opens on Wednesday and Thursday from 10pm to 4am and on Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 4:30am. Tables on the main floor take groups of up to twelve, and the mezzanine suits smaller groups of four to eight.

Weeknights carry resident parties such as Octagon Monday and Octagon Tuesday, Thursday brings the techno party 6IX SENSE, and guest bookings have included R3HAB, the Dutch hardstyle act Sub Zero Project and the Israeli DJ and producer OMIKI. Doors open at 10:00 pm and the night runs to 4:30 am. Entry is for guests aged 20 and over, and photo ID is checked at the door for every guest, so a passport or other photo ID is needed.
