Basement nightclub in Azabujuban, open since 2017, with a guest roll of more than 100 headline artists
1 OAK Tokyo carries the One Of A Kind nightclub name to Azabujuban, in a single room one floor below the street at 1-4-5 Azabujuban in Minato-ku. The club dates its Tokyo run to 2017 and describes itself plainly: one room beneath Tokyo, and the night done properly. Doors open at 11pm and the music runs until 5am.
The club keeps a wall of the names who have passed through that room, more than a hundred of them by its own count, from Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Pharrell Williams and Justin Bieber to The Chainsmokers, Skrillex and Kygo, alongside Japanese artists such as BAD HOP, AK-69 and JP THE WAVY. Main nights are in the basement room, and the ground floor opens for a weekly reggaeton party.
Each open night has its own name. Tuesday is MADE Society, Thursday is Bright Lights Big City x Utopia, Friday is The Blueprint and Sunday closes the week with Last Call. Saturday runs two parties at once: The Formula downstairs and BEYAKEO, the reggaeton night, upstairs on the ground floor. The club is open on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11pm to 5am, and dark on Monday and Wednesday.
General admission is paid at the door, and VIP tables are taken by advance request, with arrival times offered from 11pm through 4am. Share the date, the arrival time and the size of the group, and our Tokyo partner arranges the table.
