Hacienda del Cielo · Rooftop Bar · Tokyo

Modern Mexican dining and open-air terraces on the ninth floor of Mansard Daikanyama.
Hacienda del Cielo is a modern Mexican restaurant and bar on the ninth floor of Mansard Daikanyama, at 10-1 Sarugakucho in Daikanyama. The name is Spanish for house of the sky, and the floor is built around its terraces, with sky dining, a bar area and a lounge styled on a Mexican resort.
The restaurant seats 197, including 48 on the terrace. Indoors, the ceiling rises eight meters, and an installation modeled on Kukulcan, the feathered serpent of Maya myth, throws light across the dining room and bar lounge. Outside, the Vista Lounge is an unroofed terrace, with covered terrace tables and a terrace counter alongside it. Terrace seats are used until 22:00.
The kitchen cooks modern Mexican with plenty of vegetables, from Mexico City-style al pastor to tacos and guacamole. Guacamole Fresco is mixed at the table in the main dining room, and Tacos Emperador is a taco spread assembled at the table from tortillas, fajita fillings and toppings such as pastor pork. Grilled beef tongue with mango salsa and chili oil, camarones a la diabla and an ichibo steak with fresh jalapeno chimichurri fill out the grill side, and churros come dusted with Tajin and cinnamon. The bar works through margaritas, classic, spicy and frozen, alongside tequila served bandera style.
Service runs from late morning to 23:00, closing at 22:00 on Sundays and holidays. Terrace seats are their own booking category, and a terrace request is seated in the Vista Lounge.
