CE LA VI Tokyo Restaurant & Sky Bar · Rooftop Bar · Tokyo

Contemporary Asian restaurant and Sky Bar on the 18th floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya, with an open-air terrace.
The CE LA VI Restaurant & Sky Bar takes the 18th floor of Tokyu Plaza Shibuya, a minute's walk from the West Exit of JR Shibuya Station. CE LA VI began in Southeast Asia and also has rooms in Singapore, Dubai, Taipei and London. In Tokyo it spreads over the top two floors of the building, with the Club Lounge and BAO by CE LA VI one level down on 17F.
The 18th floor combines an indoor dining room, an open-air terrace and the Sky Bar area, all looking out over the Shibuya skyline. Terrace seats depend on the weather. Between lunch and dinner the floor runs as a cafe, and the Sky Bar serves its cocktail list from golden hour into the late evening.
The kitchen cooks what it calls contemporary Asian cuisine, served as sharing plates for a casual meal or as a course menu for a more formal one. The dinner menu runs from a seafood platter of raw oysters and Hokkaido scallop ceviche to foie gras dan dan noodles, blue swimmer crab cooked chili-crab style, Kagoshima black pork with Chinese BBQ sauce and grilled hanger steak with Kampot peppercorns. Signature cocktails include the Shibuya Sunset, the Sake Sling, the Pina Roja and a spicy margarita.
Lunch runs from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, the cafe from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and dinner until 11:00 pm, with last entry at 10:00 pm. Dinner is for guests aged 13 and over. The dress code is smart casual, and sportswear, tracksuits, sweatshirts and sleeveless tops for men are turned away.
