Alain Ducasse's contemporary French cooking on the tenth floor of the Chanel Ginza Building
BEIGE Alain Ducasse Tokyo is the French restaurant on the tenth floor of the Chanel Ginza Building at 3-5-3 Ginza. Open since 2004, it serves Alain Ducasse's contemporary French cooking and holds one MICHELIN Star in the MICHELIN Guide Tokyo 2026. Takahiro Noguchi, who joined the opening team of Benoit Tokyo in 2005 and later ran its kitchen, became Executive Chef in April 2026.
The entrance opens into a lounge of club chairs and regularly changing paintings and photographs, then into a dining room of soft colors and light, finished in wood, copper and lacquer, in a quiet setting above the streets of Ginza.
The cooking pairs fine French produce with Japanese seasonal vegetables, seafood and meat. Lunch and dinner each offer a choice of menus built from amuse, appetizer, main course and dessert, and the Signature menu is the chef's selection. A recent Signature menu listed striped jack with a light cream and gold caviar, a matsutake fritter with eggplant veloute, glazed blue lobster with beet fondant and bisque, and Kumamoto Akaushi beef with salt-baked anago, closing with the Carre Chanel chocolate from the Le Chocolat Alain Ducasse workshop in Tokyo.
Lunch runs from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm with last orders at 1:00 pm, and dinner from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm with last orders at 8:00 pm. The restaurant closes on Mondays, and on the following Tuesday when a Monday is a public holiday. The dress code is smart casual, and men are asked to wear a collared shirt or a jacket.
