Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester is the three-Michelin-star French dining room on Park Lane, the chef's flagship London kitchen. It sits inside The Dorchester at 53 Park Lane, on the Mayfair edge of Hyde Park, and carries a quieter, more modern elegance than the grand hotel around it, in wood, leather and textiles in soft natural tones.
At its center is the Table Lumiere, a private table for up to seven screened by a shimmering oval curtain of roughly 4,500 fiber-optic threads and laid with Hermes china, Puiforcat silver, and Saint-Louis crystal. It is the seat guests ask about most, and the one worth requesting well ahead. Stephane Petit was promoted to executive chef in 2026 and runs the kitchen day to day, working alongside chef patron Jean-Philippe Blondet under Alain Ducasse's direction. Signature dishes include hand-dived scallop with citrus beurre blanc and caviar, lobster medallion with truffle and chicken quenelle, and the rum baba poured tableside with your choice of rum.
Service is dinner only, five nights a week, Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM, closed Sunday and Monday and closed for lunch every day. Dress is smart and elegant, with jackets and collared shirts for men, long trousers, and no casual footwear.
