The Best Restaurants in Mayfair 2026
A ranked guide to the best Mayfair restaurants for 2026, from three-Michelin-star tasting menus to the buzzy dining rooms that define London's most glamorous square mile.
Mayfair is the dining epicenter of London - a few glittering streets between Park Lane and Regent Street where the city's most ambitious kitchens, deepest wine lists, and best-dressed rooms all sit within a short walk of one another. If you want the single densest concentration of great restaurants in Britain, this is it: three-Michelin-star haute cuisine on Park Lane, Venetian glamour on Davies Street, Indian fine dining on Albemarle Street, and late-running scene rooms off Berkeley Square.
So what are the best restaurants in Mayfair right now? Below is our ranked guide for 2026, drawn from the tables our members ask for most. Each pick includes what to order, why it earns its place, and who it suits - and every venue links straight through to its MyRSVP page so you can request the reservation. Michelin stars are noted only where the 2026 Guide awards them.
Helene Darroze at The Connaught
The highest bar in Mayfair. Helene Darroze at The Connaught holds three Michelin stars for its precise, produce-led French cooking, served in one of the most beautiful dining rooms in London. Guests choose their main by the provenance of a single ingredient - a Cornwall crab, a Wales lamb - and the sommelier team is among the best in the city. This is the Mayfair address for a landmark occasion - an anniversary, a proposal, a dinner that has to be perfect.
Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester
Paris-level haute cuisine on Park Lane. Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester is a three-Michelin-star temple of classical French technique, from the rum baba poured tableside to the impeccable service and the shimmering Table Lumiere at its center. It is formal, unhurried, and worth the ceremony. Come for the tasting menu when only the very top tier will do.
Sketch
Five rooms, one Mayfair icon. Sketch on Conduit Street is best known for its yellow Gallery and pod loos, but the serious cooking is upstairs in the Lecture Room & Library, which holds three Michelin stars. Go to the Gallery for the Instagram-famous afternoon tea and cocktails, or book the Lecture Room for a full haute-cuisine occasion. Few restaurants deliver theater and technique in the same building this well.
Gymkhana
The two-Michelin-star flagship that changed how London eats Indian food. Gymkhana, from JKS Restaurants at 42 Albemarle Street, plates game, tandoor, and Raj-era classics in a clubby, wood-paneled room that stays packed year-round. The tandoori masala lamb chops with walnut chutney are the dish to chase, the restaurant's signature since it opened. Book well ahead - this is one of the hardest tables in Mayfair.
Sabor
Spanish fire cooking with a Michelin star, on Heddon Street. Sabor runs on two levels - a casual counter and tapas bar downstairs, and El Asador upstairs, where suckling pig roasts whole in a purpose-built oven and Galician octopus is cooked in copper pans and dusted with paprika. It is one of the most joyful serious meals in the area. Sit at the counter if you want the full show.
Scott's
Mayfair's storied champagne and seafood room, on Mount Street since 1851. Scott's is where old money and new money meet over a tower of oysters, lobster Thermidor, and grilled Dover sole. The crowd is as much a part of the experience as the fish, and the terrace is one of the best people-watching seats in London. Come for a long, moneyed lunch.
Cipriani
Old-school Venetian glamour on Davies Street. Cipriani is the London outpost of the Harry's Bar dynasty, famous for its Bellinis, beef carpaccio, and baked tagliolini. The room hums with a jet-set, old-money buzz and the waiters in white jackets have been doing this forever. It is not cheap and it is not quiet - that is exactly the point.
Sexy Fish
High-energy, high-design, and impossible to ignore. Sexy Fish on Berkeley Square is a Martin Brudnizki spectacle - Damien Hirst's bronze mermaids, a sake-forward drinks list, and a pan-Asian menu of sushi, robata, and tempura. The cocktails are excellent and the room is a scene from the moment you walk in. Come for a celebration with volume.
Amazonico
A rainforest fantasy off Berkeley Square. Amazonico brings Latin American and Asian flavors - ceviche, robata, and Josper-grilled cuts - into a lush, jungle-themed room that runs into the Bar & Lounge and the hidden OCTO cocktail bar below. The energy builds through the night with live music. It is dinner and a party under one roof.
Novikov
Two restaurants in one Berkeley Street address. Novikov splits into a buzzy Asian room and a warmer Italian room, both drawing a moneyed, see-and-be-seen Mayfair crowd. The dim sum and robata-grilled dishes are the picks on the Asian side; the pasta and truffle dishes on the Italian. It has been a fixture of the scene for years for good reason.
Gaia Mayfair
The Dubai Greek-Mediterranean sensation, landed at 50 Dover Street. Gaia Mayfair serves refined Greek and Riviera cooking - sea bream carpaccio, grilled whole fish, and lobster linguine - in a chic, sun-washed room that fills with a glossy international crowd. It is one of the buzziest openings the neighborhood has seen. Book for weekend dinner and expect a scene.
Cecconi's Mayfair
The reliable all-day Italian at the heart of it all. Cecconi's Mayfair, from the Soho House group on Burlington Gardens, does polished Northern Italian cooking from breakfast to late - veal tonnato, fresh pasta, and a green room that never seems to empty. It is the Mayfair regular's canteen. Perfect for a relaxed lunch or an easy pre-theater dinner.
Hakkasan Mayfair
Dark, sultry, and consistently excellent Cantonese. Hakkasan Mayfair on Bruton Street pairs its lattice-screened dining room with modern dim sum, whole Peking duck carved tableside, and one of the better cocktail lists in the area. It is a moody, grown-up night out that has held its standard for years. Order the Peking duck and the signature dim sum platter.
Isabel Mayfair
Glamorous Latin-Mediterranean dining with a late bar. Isabel Mayfair on Albemarle Street is a jewel-box of a room that runs from an elegant dinner into a genuine late-night scene downstairs. The menu spans tuna tartare, wood-fired steaks, and sharing plates built for a table that plans to stay out. Come when dinner is the start of the night, not the end.
34 Mayfair
A Martin Brudnizki-designed art deco grill on Grosvenor Square. 34 Mayfair is a clubby, jazz-flecked room built around the wood-fired Argentine parrilla grill - superb steaks, seafood, and a weekend brunch that regulars swear by. Live music and a smart, local crowd give it a warm, old-Mayfair feel. Ideal for a steak dinner with a bit of soul.
Bocconcino Mayfair
The Berkeley Street Italian that still cooks at midnight. Bocconcino Mayfair sits between Berkeley Square and Piccadilly in a warm room of tan leather and cast-iron columns, doing wood-fired pizza, house-made pasta and a rotating seasonal antipasti selection. The kitchen runs to 12:30 AM Monday to Saturday, which puts it in a small group of Mayfair rooms that will take a proper dinner after a show or a late drink. Quieter early, livelier after ten.
Booking a Mayfair table
Mayfair's best restaurants are also its hardest to get into - the three-star rooms book weeks out, and the scene tables fill fast on weekends. Each restaurant's page above has its booking link, so book as early as each one allows for the night you want.
