Sexy Fish sits inside Berkeley Square House, open since 2015, and remains one of Mayfair's most theatrical rooms. Designed by Martin Brudnizki, the space centers on an onyx bar and two bronze mermaid sculptures by Damien Hirst, with further artwork by Frank Gehry and Michael Roberts through the dining room. An open sushi counter anchors the room, and a terrace looks out over Berkeley Square.
The kitchen runs robata and sushi side by side. The caramelized black cod in spicy miso is the dish guests come back for, balancing sweet, spicy, and umami. Beyond the black cod, expect a broad sushi and sashimi list alongside grilled dishes off the robata and a sake-forward drinks list.
The energy builds after dark: DJs soundtrack the room every night with a mix of disco, funk, house, and electro, and live entertainment joins in on Fridays and Saturdays. Leather booths fill with a fashion-forward crowd, making the room suited to a group celebration that carries into dancing as much as a lively dinner.
The room opens daily from noon, staying open until 1:00 AM Monday through Saturday and midnight on Sunday. Dress is smart casual: skip sportswear and beachwear.
