Dear Darling opened in late 2023 at 91 Jermyn Street in St. James's, a short walk from Green Park, and Skepta headlined its opening weekend. It is a two-floor house, invitations come in the name of Lady Darling, the house's hostess, and the lower floor is reached only through her wardrobe.
Upstairs, the Living Room is set up like a parlor, with sofas and booths dressed in velvet and silk, tapestries and art on the walls, and soft lighting. Through the wardrobe, the Secret Basement is darker, with exposed brick, dim corners and provocative art. Each floor takes up to 160 guests for private hire, or 320 for the full house.
The club opens Thursday through Sunday. The Living Room plays house from 11pm to 3am while the Basement plays R&B and hip-hop, and on Fridays and Saturdays the Basement switches to house from 3am to 5:30am for Darlings After Dark. Afrodisiac, an afrobeats and amapiano night, has run on Sundays with live sets from Victony and Oxlade, and past one-off nights have featured Rick Ross and Offset.
Doors open at 11pm. Thursday and Sunday run to 3:30am with last entry at 2am, and Friday and Saturday run to 5:30am with last entry at 4:30am. It is a 21-plus venue, physical ID is required on arrival, and guests are asked to dress for the occasion. Without a table, admission is by invitation only.
