Bagatelle London opened in 2019 as the UK flagship of the Bagatelle empire, a French Mediterranean bistro now at 34 Dover Street in Mayfair, a minute's walk from Berkeley Square. A 2025 redesign by Sam Baron refreshed the interior, keeping the room built around French Riviera glamour with white marble floors, navy velvet chairs, and brass accents.
Executive Chef Giuseppe Strippoli, working under global corporate chef Rocco Seminara, leads the kitchen with a reimagined French Mediterranean menu: a whole free-range chicken in an herb salt crust with tarragon, an eggplant parmigiana with buffalo mozzarella, and shareable plates like Angus beef sliders with foie gras and black truffle mayonnaise, or a whole grilled lobster linguine for the table.
By night, the room turns into a stage for resident DJs and live performers, and the crowd stays late through dinner service.
Bagatelle opens Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 12:30 AM, Thursday to Saturday from 6:30 PM to 1:00 AM, and Sunday from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. The restaurant is closed Monday and Tuesday.
