Hakkasan Mayfair is a subterranean, two-floor Cantonese restaurant set below street level on Bruton Street, designed by Christian Liaigre in his signature dark, sultry style: lacquered wood, intricate lattice screens, and low ambient lighting across both levels.
Hakkasan Mayfair opened in 2010 and held a Michelin star from 2012 until the 2024 Guide, and it has run for over a decade as one of Mayfair's late-dining destinations. An open kitchen anchors the lower floor, a lounge bar sits above, and the Bar runs live DJs Wednesday through Saturday from 7:00 PM.
The contemporary Cantonese menu centers on the whole Peking duck, carved tableside and served two ways, with an Oscietra or Beluga caviar upgrade. Dim sum runs from XO prawn and scallop shui mai to a crystal lobster dumpling with Oscietra caviar, and the kitchen also serves charcoal-grilled Japanese A5 wagyu and a full roster of claypots and noodle dishes. The Hakka, a vodka and sake cocktail built on lychee liqueur, lime, coconut, and passion fruit, is one of the bar's originals.
Hakkasan Mayfair serves lunch daily from noon to 4:30 PM; dinner runs 5:00 PM to 11:15 PM Sunday through Wednesday and 5:00 PM to 11:45 PM Thursday through Saturday. Dress is smart: no hoods worn up, and no casual sportswear, tracksuits, running shorts, running trainers, hats, or flip-flops.
