Novikov · Restaurant · London
Two restaurants under one roof at 50A Berkeley Street in Mayfair.
Novikov is two restaurants under one roof, a multi-level space at 50A Berkeley Street in Mayfair. The Italian wing runs warm and rustic, with a commanding wood-fired oven, suede-paneled walls, and wrought-iron chandeliers, while the Asian side turns sharp and contemporary with bamboo accents, silk screens, and lantern-lit tables. A central marble bar with velvet stools bridges the two, with live DJ sets most evenings and an outdoor terrace.
Novikov opened on Berkeley Street in 2012. The Italian kitchen leans regional, built around a wood-fired oven for pizza alongside pasta and fresh seafood. The Asian kitchen spans hand-rolled sushi, dim sum, and robata-grilled dishes from an open kitchen fronted by a market-style display of seafood and vegetables. The bar runs a deep wine list alongside signature cocktails.
The crowd skews Mayfair professional, with power lunches giving way to evening mingling and late-night lingering. The mood balances polished glamour with lively, unstudied energy.
The Italian restaurant serves Monday through Wednesday until midnight, Thursday through Saturday until 12:30am, and Sunday until 11:30pm. The Asian restaurant serves daily from noon until midnight, and the Lounge Bar runs Tuesday through Friday from 4pm to 2am and Saturday and Sunday from 5pm to 2am, closed Monday. Dress is smart and elegant, no sportswear, beachwear, hoodies, shorts, or hats. Tables get hard to book around Wimbledon fortnight and Royal Ascot, so book a few weeks out for those dates and ask about bar dining or private-dining allocations if the main book reads full.
