Gymkhana
Gymkhana is the two-Michelin-star Indian flagship of JKS Restaurants at 42 Albemarle Street in Mayfair. The Sethi siblings, Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina, opened it in 2013; the first star followed in 2014 and the second in 2024, a rare pairing for Indian fine dining anywhere in the world. The two-level space channels Raj-era sophistication, its ground floor wrapped in jade green and polished dark timber.
Benares
Benares holds a Michelin star for modern Indian cooking from a 150-seat room at 12A Berkeley Square in Mayfair, its warm woods, soft metallic accents, and low ambient light giving it the feel of a luxurious Indian salon tempered by British restraint. Chef Sameer Taneja runs the kitchen, and the star has been part of the restaurant's identity since its 2005 recognition.
Jamavar
Jamavar is the Leela group's Michelin-starred Indian restaurant on Mayfair's Mount Street, marking a decade in London in 2026 and long regarded as one of the capital's benchmark fine-dining Indian rooms. The interior is understated dark glamour: embossed deep-green wallpaper, olive and tan leather seating, brass detailing, Tiffany-style lamps, and a serene blue private dining room.
