Rockwell Group's design threads Thai craft - hand-woven textiles, wood carving - through Nobu's Japanese-Peruvian world, culminating in an open-air bar set on a former helipad with genuinely 360-degree views: the Chao Phraya, the green lung of Bang Krachao, Mahanakhon, and the distant glow of lebua's Sky Bar all visible from one perch.
Downstairs is destination dining, but the rooftop is the reason to come for a drink. Sake-forward cocktails and a polished, moneyed crowd suit an occasion, and arriving before sunset lets you watch the light drop over the river before the city switches on. This is the newest, highest marquee address on the Sathorn skyline, and it feels every bit the arrival it was billed as.

2. Sky Bar (lebua at State Tower, Bang Rak)
No rooftop on earth is more famous. Perched on the 63rd floor of lebua at State Tower, roughly 247 meters above Silom, Sky Bar is the gold-domed cantilever made globally recognizable by The Hangover Part II - an oval, color-shifting bar that juts out over the edge with the Chao Phraya sweeping below. It is the single most photographed drink in Bangkok, and for good reason: the drop is vertiginous, the sunset over the river is unmatched, and the sense of occasion is total.
The signature pour is the Hangovertini, created for the film, backed by classics-with-a-twist, champagne, and a cigar list. 3. Above Eleven (Fraser Suites Sukhumvit, Soi 11)
On the 33rd and 34th floors of Fraser Suites Sukhumvit, Above Eleven has been Soi 11's rooftop anchor since 2012 - Southeast Asia's first Peruvian-Japanese, or Nikkei, rooftop. The design plays it clever, with an urban city-park theme of structural trees and greenery softening the hard Sukhumvit skyline, which glows in every direction after dark.
The menu is a genuine draw as much as the view: Nikkei platters, nibbles and mains alongside classic pisco cocktails and Peruvian-inflected originals. It is buzzy, reliable, and less formal than the river giants, which makes it a strong pick for a group that wants to eat, drink, and stay a while. 4. Sky Beach Bangkok (King Power Mahanakhon, Bang Rak)
On the 78th floor of King Power Mahanakhon, roughly 310 meters up, Sky Beach is the highest open-air rooftop bar in the city - the top deck of one of Thailand's tallest towers, operated by The Standard. 5. The Speakeasy Rooftop Bar (Hotel Muse, Lang Suan)
On the 24th and 25th floors of Hotel Muse Bangkok, an MGallery property near Lang Suan and Lumpini, The Speakeasy trades altitude for atmosphere. On the 61st floor of Banyan Tree Bangkok, about 220 meters over Sathorn, Vertigo and its Moon Bar occupy a converted open-air helipad with no glass walls - just a low rail and an uninterrupted 360-degree sweep of the skyline. Billed as Asia's first rooftop grill, Vertigo is the sit-down restaurant along the edge, while Moon Bar is the cocktail perch beside it.

The outlook takes in the Sukhumvit high-rises and, on a clear evening, a long view toward the river as the sun drops. On the 46th floor of the T-One Building off Sukhumvit, Tichuca is Bangkok's most viral rooftop - a cyber-jungle of foliage and canopies crowned by a giant LED jellyfish tree that shifts from jungle green to deep Avatar purple through the night.
