Saigon's club scene now has two rooms on the DJ Mag Top 100 list, a canal-side superclub with Vietnam's first L-Acoustics L-Series system, and a scatter of smaller rooms built around one specific sound. This guide ranks the six that matter most in 2026.
Most of what's here sits in District 1 or District 3, within a short ride of the Dong Khoi hotels, with one deliberate exception on Bui Vien, the backpacker strip, carried because it is one of the better-run rooms on that street and because groups ask for it by name. Doors open late across the board, and most rooms run past 2am.

1. Cine Saigon (Ben Thanh)
Cine Saigon entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs at number 68 in 2026, a new entry, and it is one of only two Vietnamese clubs on this year's list. It occupies a converted theater on Cong Quynh in Ben Thanh, and the original architecture has been kept, with the production built into it instead of over it. The room holds around 800, and the sightlines are a theater's, not a warehouse's, so the stage reads from everywhere on the floor.
Sound runs on a line-array system, and LED installations run the full height of the space with a lighting rig covering 360 degrees, wrapping the room instead of facing one direction. The floor is organized in tiers, from a bar counter near the DJ booth to standing tables, front-stage seating and private sofas further back, with international and regional touring DJs alongside residents across house, techno and hip-hop. Doors are from 21:00 and the night runs to around 03:00.

2. APLUS Saigon (Cau Ong Lanh)
APLUS Saigon entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs at number 59 in 2026, in its first year on the list, just months after opening. It sits on Vo Van Kiet in Cau Ong Lanh, on the canal side of District 1, and it operates as a superclub, not a lounge: concert-grade LED staging and a sound system built for scale, not for an intimate dance floor. The room runs an L-Acoustics L-Series sound system, reported as the first installation of its kind in Vietnam, paired with a wraparound LED wall.
The format leans closer to a production venue than a bar, with nights built around one headline set and table tiers set around the stage instead of spread across a standard room layout. The venue went dark for a stretch in 2026 for renovation and maintenance work, then reopened, and is currently running nightly from 20:00 to 04:00.

3. Canalis Club (District 3)
Canalis Club runs on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in District 3, and it is one of the longer-standing rooms on the Saigon circuit, operating under the Canalis name for several years. The room is built around a high-ceilinged open floor with a central stage, large LED screens and kinetic lighting and lasers, holding more than 200 guests.
The room books broadly instead of specializing in one sound, with live performances most nights and an established table service operation. A dance floor and a seated section share the same open room, which suits mixed groups instead of one specific crowd looking for a single style of night. Doors open at 20:30 and the room runs to 02:00, every night of the week.

4. Hair of the Dog (Ben Thanh)
Hair of the Dog sits on Bui Vien, the pedestrianized street at the center of Saigon's backpacker quarter, and is one of the longer-running dance rooms on that strip, built around a sound system and DJ sets playing EDM and Vietnamese remixes. Bui Vien is the loudest few hundred meters in the city and it is not a luxury address, but this room holds a defined space within that: its own sound system and a crowd that comes specifically for the music.
We carry it as the one exception on our Saigon list, because it is one of the better-run rooms on a strip that otherwise does not fit the rest of our network, and because groups ask for Bui Vien by name often enough to warrant it. Bui Vien closes to cars in the evening, so factor the walk in and agree a meeting point with your group ahead of time. Doors are from 21:00 and the room runs to 04:00.

5. Khu 13 (Ben Thanh)
Khu 13 sits down an alley off Pham Ngu Lao in Ben Thanh, in the middle of the backpacker quarter: a loud, young, hip-hop-led room, not a quiet lounge tucked away from the noise. The signature night is Friday, branded FRIDAY 13, with resident and guest DJs running hip-hop and pop sets on a proper sound and lighting rig, and the room is built around a real dance floor, not just a bar counter.
The club holds around 200 people, the design leans into an underground, industrial look with metal mesh and light strips, and entry is 18 and over. The hours are the latest of any room on this list: doors open at 21:00 and the club runs to 03:00 every night. The alley address is not a mistake: Pham Ngu Lao numbering runs deep off the street, so the entrance is set back from the main run, worth knowing if arriving by car instead of on foot.

6. Volar Club (Ben Thanh)
Volar Club opened in August 2026 on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in Ben Thanh, in the middle of District 1 instead of out on the canal or in the backpacker quarter, walkable from the Dong Khoi hotels and the Opera House. The room runs as a club and lounge together, with LED walls and bar-top dancers, so the evening can start seated before moving to the floor.
Doors open early for Saigon, at 20:30, making it a viable first stop for the night as well as a last one. DJ Juany Bravo played the soft opening, setting the tone for the booking policy since. As a boutique-format room, Volar leans on selective bookings and a strong door instead of sheer floor size. Service runs to 03:00, and because the room is small relative to the superclubs, table availability is genuinely limited at weekends.
