Best Nightlife in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) 2026
The six best nightclubs and six best rooftop bars in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) for 2026, ranked in order with hours and booking details.
Why we wrote this guide
A Saigon night usually splits in two. Early evening belongs to the rooftops: sunset over the Saigon River and the District 1 towers, a drink at height while the light changes, dinner or a lounge set before the crowd builds. Later, the night moves down to the clubs, most of which open around nine and run past two in the morning.
District 1 anchors most of this list, from the river-facing rooftops to the backpacker streets around Bui Vien and the canal side near Cau Ong Lanh, with a couple of rooms across in District 3 filling out the rest. Two of the clubs below, Cine Saigon and APLUS Saigon, are new entries on this year's DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs list.
This guide ranks the six clubs and six rooftop bars that matter most in Saigon for 2026, in the order local demand puts them. Last updated September 2026.
The clubs
1. Cine Saigon (Ben Thanh)

Cine Saigon occupies a converted theater on Cong Quynh in Ben Thanh, and in 2026 it entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs at number 68, a new entry and one of only two Vietnamese clubs on this year's list. The original theater architecture has been kept: a line-array sound system and LED installations run the full height of the room, with a lighting rig covering 360 degrees.
The room holds around 800 across tiered levels, from a bar counter near the DJ booth to standing tables, front-stage seating and private sofas further back, with international and regional touring DJs alongside residents across house, techno and hip-hop. Doors are from 21:00 and the night runs to around 03:00.
See Cine Saigon.
Best for: a theater-turned-club with a DJ Mag ranking and 360-degree production.
2. APLUS Saigon (Cau Ong Lanh)

APLUS Saigon entered the DJ Mag Top 100 Clubs at number 59 in 2026, in its first year on the list, just months after opening. It sits on Vo Van Kiet in Cau Ong Lanh, on the canal side of District 1, and runs as a superclub built for scale: an L-Acoustics L-Series sound system, reported as the first installation of its kind in Vietnam, paired with a wraparound LED wall.
Nights are built around one headline set, with table tiers set around the stage. A sister club in Hanoi entered the same DJ Mag list a year earlier. The venue is currently running nightly from 20:00 to 04:00.
See APLUS Saigon.
Best for: a production-first superclub night built around one headline DJ.
3. Canalis Club (District 3)

Canalis Club runs on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in District 3, one of the longer-standing rooms on the Saigon circuit under the Canalis name. The room is built around a high-ceilinged open floor with a central stage, large LED screens, and kinetic lighting and lasers, holding more than 200 guests.
The room books broadly instead of specializing in one sound, with live performances most nights. A dance floor and a seated section share the same open room, which suits mixed groups instead of one specific crowd. Doors open at 20:30 and the room runs to 02:00, every night of the week.
See Canalis Club.
Best for: a mixed group's first club night in Saigon.
4. Hair of the Dog (Ben Thanh)

Hair of the Dog sits on Bui Vien, the pedestrianized street at the center of Saigon's backpacker quarter, and is one of the longer-running dance rooms on that strip, built around a sound system and DJ sets playing EDM and Vietnamese remixes. We carry it as the one exception on our Saigon list, because it is one of the better-run rooms on a strip that otherwise does not fit the rest of our network.
Bui Vien closes to cars in the evening, so the walk in and a meeting point are worth agreeing with your group ahead of time. Doors are from 21:00 and the room runs to 04:00.
See Hair of the Dog.
Best for: groups who specifically want the Bui Vien backpacker-strip scene.
5. Khu 13 (Ben Thanh)

Khu 13 sits down an alley off Pham Ngu Lao in Ben Thanh, in the middle of the backpacker quarter: a loud, young, hip-hop-led room built around a real dance floor. The club holds around 200 people, entry is 18 and over, and the design leans into an underground, industrial look with metal mesh and light strips.
The signature night is Friday, branded FRIDAY 13, with resident and guest DJs running hip-hop and pop sets on a proper sound and lighting rig. Doors open at 21:00 and the club runs to 03:00 every night.
See Khu 13.
Best for: a late hip-hop night for guests 18 and over.
6. Volar Club (Ben Thanh)

Volar Club opened in August 2026 on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in Ben Thanh, in the middle of District 1, walkable from the Dong Khoi hotels and the Opera House. The room runs as a club and lounge together, with LED walls and bar-top dancers, so the evening can start seated before moving to the floor.
DJ Juany Bravo played the soft opening. As a boutique-format room, Volar leans on selective bookings and a strong door instead of sheer floor size. Doors open at 20:30 and service runs to 03:00; because the room is small relative to the superclubs, table availability is genuinely limited at weekends.
See Volar Club.
Best for: a central District 1 club night that starts seated and moves to the floor.
The rooftop bars
7. Chill Skybar (Ben Thanh)

Chill Skybar has been running since 2011, the original sky bar in Ho Chi Minh City. It sits on floors 26 and 27 of AB Tower on Le Lai, with about 3,000 square meters of open floor across the two levels, and it fills most nights of the week, not only at weekends.
The layout wraps the tower, so the view changes as you move around the deck. Doors open at 17:30 and the room runs to 02:00 every night, with a happy hour from 17:30 to 20:00. Sunset seating on the outer rail is the request worth making, and it is the one that goes first.
See Chill Skybar.
Best for: a sunset table with a view that changes as you move around the deck.
8. Blank Lounge (Landmark 81)

Blank occupies floors 75 and 76 of Landmark 81, the 461-meter tower that is the tallest building in Vietnam, and it is among the highest lounges in the country. The two floors hold an indoor lounge and an outdoor deck, with room for as few as 20 or as many as 100 depending on the booking.
The all-day menu runs light breakfast, savory plates and shareable platters built from local Vietnamese ingredients, alongside coffee, tea, cocktails and spirits, and there is no dress code. Blank opens at 09:30 and runs to midnight daily; sunset is the busiest window, so arrive early in that hour for the best table.
See Blank Lounge.
Best for: one of the highest views in the country, any time from mid-morning to midnight.
9. Social Club Rooftop (Hotel des Arts)

Social Club Rooftop sits on the 24th floor of Hotel des Arts Saigon, an MGallery property on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, and the building's Art Deco style carries all the way up: dark timber, warm lighting and a French Indochine feel that reads more hotel bar than nightclub. An infinity pool runs along one edge of the terrace, reserved for hotel guests, while the bar and its seating are open to everyone.
A happy hour runs daily from 15:00 to 19:00, with select by-the-glass pours discounted, though not on public holidays or during special events. Doors open at 15:00, closing at midnight through the week and on Sunday, and running to 01:00 on Friday and Saturday.
See Social Club Rooftop.
Best for: a quieter rooftop drink where conversation still works at the table.
10. Zion Sky Lounge (District 1)

Zion Sky Lounge sits fourteen floors above Ham Nghi in District 1, with live performances and DJ sets that build through the evening. The format pairs a lounge with dining: an Asian fusion kitchen runs through the evening, with tasting sets built for different table sizes. Smart elegant dress is expected.
Doors open at 16:00 and service continues to 03:00, well past the point where most Saigon rooftops have closed the deck. Arrive before seven in the evening for the view in daylight, or after ten for the later crowd.
See Zion Sky Lounge.
Best for: a late-running rooftop that works as a second or third stop.
11. Shri Lifestyle Dining (Centec Tower)

Shri occupies Level 23 of Centec Tower on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, on the District 3 side of the center. It has been a fixture of Saigon sky dining since 2010, relaunching in 2023 as Shri Lifestyle Dining after merging with IN Dining: a dining room, a bar, a lounge and an open-air terrace with a glasshouse, built around a full kitchen.
There is a resident DJ, with live sets every Friday and Saturday from 8:30pm, a monthly Sunday electronic night, a weekly jazz set, and a Tuesday ladies' night. Doors are from 17:00 and the room runs to midnight; because the terrace is smaller than the interior, outdoor tables are worth requesting specifically.
See Shri Lifestyle Dining.
Best for: dinner that moves into a later DJ set without switching venues.
12. Twilight Sky Bar (Ben Thanh)

Twilight Sky Bar sits atop La Siesta Premium Saigon on Ly Tu Trong in Ben Thanh, spread across two floors at the top of the hotel above the Cloud Nine restaurant one floor down. Seating for around 150 is close together under soft lighting, and the music sits under conversation, so the room fills with couples and small groups instead of the large tables that fill the bigger sky bars.
The bar runs an extensive cocktail list with dedicated mixologists on the floor. Doors are from 17:00 and the room closes at midnight every night, seven nights a week; the sunset hour draws the biggest crowd, so book an hour before dark.
See Twilight Sky Bar.
Best for: a quieter, conversation-friendly rooftop for couples or small groups.
How a night usually goes
Most of the rooftops in this guide open in the afternoon or early evening, Blank from 09:30 and Chill Skybar from 17:30, and close by midnight or two in the morning, which suits a sunset drink or an early stop before moving on. The clubs open later, from 20:00 to 21:00, and run past midnight to somewhere between 02:00 and 04:00, so the two halves of a night rarely overlap.
How to book
Chill Skybar and Twilight Sky Bar take reservations online through their own booking pages, linked in their listings above. For the six clubs and the other four rooftop bars, tell us the night and your group size, and our Saigon partner will arrange the table.
