The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Las Vegas
MICHELIN returned to Las Vegas on August 26, 2026 for the first time since 2009. The complete list across two stars, one star, Bib Gourmand and Recommended, and what the guide actually signals.
The 2026 MICHELIN Guide Las Vegas: the full list, and what it actually means
On August 26, 2026, MICHELIN held the inaugural MICHELIN Guide American Southwest ceremony at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. It is the guide's return to the city for the first time since 2009, and the first time Las Vegas restaurants have been rated by MICHELIN inspectors in seventeen years.

The new Southwest edition covers Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Twenty-four Las Vegas restaurants were recognized across every tier. No restaurant in the region received three stars.
Here is the complete Las Vegas list.
Two MICHELIN Stars
Restaurant de Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, under chef Eleazar Villanueva.
The highest rating awarded anywhere in the Southwest, and the only two-star restaurant in the region. Joel Robuchon has been the benchmark for fine dining on the Strip since it opened, and its return to a MICHELIN rating after the guide's seventeen-year absence confirms what the city already knew.
Two stars in the MICHELIN system means "excellent cooking, worth a detour." In practice it is the hardest reservation in Las Vegas, and it became harder on August 26.
One MICHELIN Star
Three restaurants, all on the Strip, all French or Spanish in lineage:
- L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, chef David Lee. The counter-format sibling to the two-star room, and the more accessible way into the same kitchen philosophy.
- Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace, chef Nicolas Costagliola. The only US outpost of the Paris three-star, and long considered the strongest classical French room in the city.
- e by Jose Andres at The Cosmopolitan, chef Anthony Taormina. A counter seating eight, hidden behind Jaleo, running an avant-garde Spanish tasting menu. The smallest dining room on this entire list and the hardest seat to get.
Bib Gourmand

MICHELIN's value award, for exceptional cooking at moderate prices. Three in Las Vegas:
- China Poblano at The Cosmopolitan, the Chinese-Mexican room from Jose Andres
- Esther's Kitchen in the Arts District, the restaurant most credited with making downtown Las Vegas a dining destination
- Yen Viet Kitchen, Vietnamese, off-Strip
The Bib list is worth reading closely, because two of the three are not on the Strip. That is the most interesting signal in the entire guide.
MICHELIN Recommended
Seventeen further Las Vegas restaurants were listed in the guide as Recommended, the tier below Bib Gourmand:

Anima by EDO | Bouchon | COTE | Estiatorio Milos | Gymkhana | Kabuto | Kame Omakase | Lamaii | Michael Mina | Mott 32 | Partage | Pho Ga Bac Bac | Ping Pang Pong | SoulBelly BBQ | Sparrow + Wolf | Stubborn Seed | Wing Lei
Special awards
- Sean Christopher of Joel Robuchon took the MICHELIN Service Award.
- Chef Rene Andrade of Bacanora and Huarachis in Phoenix took the Young Chef Award, the only major individual award to leave Nevada.
What the guide actually tells you

Three things are worth pulling out, because the headline coverage has mostly missed them.
First, the Strip did not sweep it. Esther's Kitchen in the Arts District, Yen Viet Kitchen, Sparrow + Wolf, SoulBelly BBQ, Partage, Kabuto and Ping Pang Pong are all off-Strip. For a guide that could easily have handed every award to a casino resort, the inspectors went looking, and that changes how a visitor should plan a week here.
Second, the two-star ceiling is meaningful. No three stars anywhere in the Southwest. MICHELIN typically opens a new region conservatively and awards upward over subsequent years, so the ceiling says more about the guide being new than about the cooking.
Third, the recommended tier is where the value sits. Recommended is not a star, but it means an inspector visited and rated the food worth including. That is a genuinely useful filter on a city with thousands of restaurants, and it surfaces rooms like Lamaii and Pho Ga Bac Bac that no visitor guide would have led with.
The rooms we book

Five of the honored restaurants are on MyRSVP, and all five were on the list before the guide arrived:
Joel Robuchon at MGM Grand, the region's only two-star.
Estiatorio Milos at The Venetian, where the fish is chosen at the display and priced by weight, and which remains the best Greek seafood room in the country.
Mott 32 at the Palazzo, the Hong Kong import whose Peking duck needs ordering when you book, not when you sit.
COTE at Grand Canal Shoppes, the Korean steakhouse format that earned a star in New York before opening here.
Gymkhana at Aria, the Las Vegas edition of the two-star Mayfair room and the strongest Indian cooking in the city.
Booking after a MICHELIN announcement
The pattern is consistent and it is already underway. A newly rated restaurant sees its reservation book tighten within days of the announcement, and the effect runs for months rather than weeks. Starred rooms feel it hardest, but the Bib Gourmand and Recommended tiers feel it too, and those rooms have far less capacity to absorb it.
If a specific room on this list matters for a trip you are already planning, move now rather than later. Tell us your date and party size and our Las Vegas team arranges the table.
