US Open NYC 2026: Restaurants and After-Match Tables
US Open week (Aug 25 to Sep 7, 2026) is the hardest two-week dining reservation window of the NYC year. The premium tennis-week book by table tier and late nightclub.
US Open Tennis NYC 2026: restaurants, after-match tables, late nightclub pivot
The US Open runs August 25 through September 7, 2026, at Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. The two weeks crush Manhattan's premium dining calendar in a way nothing else does. The peak nights are the men's and women's semi-finals (Thursday-Friday of the second week) when the corporate suites empty into the city after 10 PM. The Labor Day weekend overlap (September 5 to 7) squeezes availability further. The city is fully back from Hamptons and the tennis crowd is in town. Carbone, Gramercy Tavern and The Modern fill first that week, so book as early as each one allows - and our New York team can help line up the late nightclub anchors for the run.
Dining anchors for tennis week
Carbone at 181 Thompson Street is the most-booked table of the run. Book as early as you can for a second-week Friday seating. Gramercy Tavern is the slower, more elegant counterpoint to Carbone's late-evening rhythm. The Modern at MoMA runs the two-Michelin-star tasting menu format with the after-museum crowd.
Marea at Central Park South runs coastal Italian seafood. The power-dinner room for the corporate suites crowd. Industry Kitchen at the South Street Seaport runs the waterfront premium dinner that captures the Brooklyn-Bridge-view crowd. Brooklyn Chop House runs the steakhouse-with-late-bar format for the dinner-into-drinks crowd. Manhatta runs the 60th-floor-view modern American at 28 Liberty Street.
Late nightclub pivot
Marquee at 289 10th Avenue is the post-dinner nightclub anchor. The late tennis crowd routes here. The Concord in the Lower East Side runs the rooftop-into-club format. Somewhere Nowhere at the Renaissance Hotel Chelsea runs the rooftop pool-club format for the post-match daytime pivot. Little Sister runs the design-led nightclub format. Nebula anchors the Midtown late nightclub circuit. Mission runs the Chelsea design-club format.
Booking during tennis week
A peak US Open week looks like: Monday Gramercy Tavern early plus Marquee late, Tuesday Carbone plus The Concord, Wednesday The Modern plus Somewhere Nowhere rooftop, Thursday quarterfinals plus Marea dinner plus Nebula late, Friday semis plus Carbone plus Marquee, Saturday finals plus Brooklyn Chop House plus late nightclub circuit. Carbone Friday seating during US Open is the single hardest reservation of the NYC year, so book it first and build the rest of the week around it.
The booking windows that matter
Gramercy Tavern, The Modern and Somewhere Nowhere open their reservation books 28 days ahead - set a reminder and book the moment the window opens, especially for Labor Day weekend (September 5 to 7, 2026), when tables get even harder to find. Carbone, Marea and Marquee do not publish a fixed booking window, so ask as early as possible.
How to lock it in
Each restaurant above books through its own page - OpenTable, Resy or SevenRooms, as listed. For the clubs, submit the reservation form on this page with the dates, party size, and the match nights you're working around (semis vs. finals vs. day-session), and our New York team will follow up with live availability. WhatsApp opens a direct line for groups already in the city pivoting from a match.
Build a custom itinerary with our concierge team. Pair the venues mentioned above into a single concierge-confirmed evening. See the full Las Vegas events calendar for every upcoming DJ and pool party across the city.
