A 2026 Bib Gourmand on Ly Tu Trong, Mediterranean and all day.
La Lola was awarded a Bib Gourmand in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, the guide's mark for good cooking at fair value, and it is one of five new Bib entries in Ho Chi Minh City that year. It sits on Ly Tu Trong in Ben Thanh ward, a short walk from Ben Thanh Market and the Dong Khoi run.
The kitchen is Mediterranean, not Vietnamese, drawing on Chef Julio's cooking across Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Turkey and Greece - a sit-down room built for full service, not a street stall, which is part of why it stands out in a Bib list dominated by street formats. The value the guide recognizes is in the cooking relative to the bill, not in the setting being modest.
Hours are long by Saigon fine-dining standards: 10:30 to 23:00, daily, so it works for a late lunch, an early dinner or a table after a rooftop drink. Walk-ins are welcome, and groups larger than eight should call ahead.
La Lola takes bookings directly through its own website, confirming by phone or email for larger groups. Ly Tu Trong sits inside a walkable block of bars and rooftops near Ben Thanh, so the room works well as the anchor of an evening out.
