The Racha Room · Restaurant · Saigon
Asian fusion cooking and late drinks on Xuan Thuy, in Thao Dien.
The Racha Room serves Asian fusion food with a Thai accent on Xuan Thuy in An Khanh, in the middle of Thao Dien, and it runs later than most restaurants in the district. The kitchen leans on dishes like massaman-style curries and dumplings, and the bar is a real part of the operation instead of an accessory.
That combination is why it works as an evening instead of a meal. Dinner can run into drinks without moving, and the room stays busy after the kitchens around it have closed, which in Thao Dien, a residential district, is genuinely useful. The room is dark, loud and designed for groups, so it suits a table of six better than a quiet two.
Service runs 17:00 to midnight through the week and to 01:00 on Friday and Saturday. The Racha Room takes reservations through DiningCity - use the booking button on this page. For anyone staying in Thao Dien instead of District 1, this is a reliable late option in the neighborhood.
Thao Dien sits across the river and cars take fifteen to twenty minutes from District 1 depending on the bridge traffic, so the trip out is worth planning as its own evening instead of a stop between two District 1 bookings.
