M Bar sits on the eighth floor of the Hotel Majestic Saigon's New Wing, added onto the original 1925 riverfront building, at the foot of Dong Khoi Street, where the boulevard meets the river before running north toward the cathedral and opera house district. The terrace runs along the river face of the building, and the outlook takes in the water, the boat traffic and the towers on the far bank.
The bar runs cocktails, wine and beer, with a signature drink called the Majestic 1925, built on orange and cinnamon infused bourbon, Campari, sweet vermouth and orange bitters as a nod to the hotel's early years. A live band plays nightly at eight, alongside an indoor lounge that runs beside the open-air terrace, giving guests a choice between air-conditioned comfort and the open river air.
