Best Friend is Roy Choi's restaurant at Park MGM, built as a mash-up of bodega, bar and restaurant. The menu gathers Choi's greatest hits, from his Kogi truck in Los Angeles to his other restaurants, remixed for Las Vegas, and resident DJs spin vinyl well into the night.
The BBQ section covers Kalbi on the bone, Spicy Pork in gochujang, Garlic Chicken and platters that combine them. The L.A. section carries the Kogi Short Rib Tacos, Slippery Shrimp and Street Corn, and the bowls include Kimchi Fried Rice, the Chego Pork Belly bowl and Spicy Kimchi Jiggae. Start with the Banchan Sampler, or let the kitchen set the pace with one of two coursed Chef Menus. Slushies are part of the drink list, including Henny and Cola and an Orange Creamsicle, next to cocktails, soju, sake and a short wine list.
Dinner starts at 4 p.m. daily and runs until 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and midnight on Friday and Saturday, and the restaurant stays open late on Dolby Live show nights, so it works before or after a show at Park MGM.
