Casa de Nadie sits on the Santa Elena hillside above Medellin, and the drive up is part of it. The city thins out, the road climbs into the hills east of Poblado, and the room appears with a balcony hanging over the whole valley.
The house reads as exactly that: a house. Warm timber ceilings, globe pendants strung the length of the room, tan leather tub chairs on patterned tile, a bar along the back and glass on the valley side. The plan runs in connected sections instead of one dining room, which gives it a lived-in feel that fits the name.
The cooking is contemporary Colombian and the kitchen is ambitious, building its reputation on the food itself and not just the view.
