Cavo Tagoo is a hotel about a 10-minute walk from the center of Mykonos Town and the Old Port, and its infinity pool is the heart of the property, blending into the Aegean horizon, set into the natural rock of a historic stone quarry. The look is barefoot chic, and the pools are heated, so a swim still works when the Meltemi wind picks up.
The pool area runs daily from 11 AM to 7 PM, with the pool bar and restaurant serving the whole time. It is kept mainly for hotel guests, and a limited number of day passes are released to outside visitors by advance reservation. A day pass covers a bed, pool access, towels, showers and changing rooms, plus Champagne, water and a fruit platter, and private cabanas can also be reserved.
At 7 PM the deck changes character. The music comes up, the cocktails take over, and until 1:30 AM the pool becomes an evening venue with floating beds, lounge and bar areas, a Chef's Table and the main restaurant, with the sunset over the water to open the night. Pool and lounge events bring poolside DJ sets and signature cocktails, and Zuma also operates inside the hotel for anyone who wants to stay for dinner.
