Alemagou sits on Ftelia Beach on the north coast of Mykonos, an all-day beach bar and restaurant whose name means "at last" in the old Mykonian dialect. It started in 2010, and the setting is pure Cycladic: open terraces holding the sunset lounge, the bar and the restaurant step down toward the sand, the beach beds, the cabanas and the open Aegean.
Days run at whatever pace the guest sets. From around noon to sunset, some people settle in with a book and a swim, others come for the company, and a beach boutique sells breezy island clothing for anyone who packed light. As the light drops, the sunset lounge becomes the focus, with music and cocktails chosen to carry the crowd from golden hour into the night.
The parties are a big part of the Alemagou story, open-air DJ parties that turn a long beach day into a dance. The kitchen cooks what it calls Aegean-fusion cuisine, built on fresh produce bought daily from local markets, and the team also sets up private celebrations, from destination weddings to surprise birthday dinners.
