Cocco sits on the Little Venice seafront in Mykonos Town, where the water laps a few steps from the tables and the row of windmills stands three minutes up the lane. It is a compact room built for intimacy, with interiors of soft curves, crisp white tablecloths, and blue bistro tables turned to face the Aegean.
The kitchen works a Mediterranean menu built for sharing. Antipasti open the table, followed by handmade pastas and wood-fired pizzas, with meat and fish off the grill and a From the Aegean section that leans on Greek seafood, from white taramosalata with warm lagana bread to a grilled sea bass fillet. The cooking stays seasonal and direct, letting good produce carry the plate.
The setting is as much of the draw as the food. Tables spread across a few small rooms on different levels, each angled toward the sea through open doors and windows, and a bar that looks almost carved from the rock turns out signature cocktails and a considered wine list. Service runs tableside and unhurried, suited to a long dinner.
Cocco keeps evening hours, opening at 6 PM and running until 2 AM as Little Venice fills and the sunset crowd settles in. The room sits in a 200-year-old building that once partly housed the Caprice bar, and dinner closes with summery desserts, digestifs and cigars.
