Moni sits on Agia Moni Square in Mykonos Town, a five-minute walk through the old town from either the Old Port or the Windmills. The club says it likes to be hard to find, because that keeps the right friends inside, and it describes itself as a private nightclub for friends.
Moni opened in 2013, shaped by local island aesthetics, international hospitality and a strong passion for music, and its listed guest nights over the years have leaned toward house and techno. The club's own line is more than family, and arrival in mixed groups is preferred.
The doors open at 11 p.m. every night of a season that runs from May to October on what the club calls the island of seven Saturdays. Guests can take cocktails at the bar or reserve a drinks table for the group, and because Moni keeps a limited number of tables, booking in advance is highly recommended, whichever night of the week the group has in mind.
