AnnaLena is the Kitsilano tasting-menu room that proves fine dining can still be fun, set a block from Kits Beach at 1809 West 1st Avenue. It holds a Michelin star, sits at number 12 on Canada's 100 Best 2026 and number 35 on North America's 50 Best, and has been one of the most consistent kitchens in Vancouver for years.
Owned since 2015 by chef Michael Robbins and operations lead Jeff Parr, AnnaLena is named for their grandmothers, and the room carries that spirit: polished but personal, with a wall of childhood photographs and a bar that knows exactly what it is doing. In June 2020 the kitchen committed fully to a set multi-course tasting menu built around seasonal local farms and suppliers, rounded out by thoughtful wine pairings and original cocktails.
