A Yaletown steakhouse built around a Grillworks Infierno wood-fired grill, in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide.
Elisa is a steakhouse on Hamilton Street in Yaletown, listed in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide, which calls it a stunning room where contemporary style blends with serious chops. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Andrew Richardson, who trained as sous chef under Terence Laybourne at 21 Queen Street in Newcastle and staged at The French Laundry. An attached butcher shop, Luigi & Sons, operates alongside the restaurant.
Everything comes off a Grillworks Infierno wood-fired grill: premium fine cuts from around the world, sustainable seafood and locally sourced produce. The design is contemporary and the room carries full audio visual capability, which the restaurant also puts to use across four private spaces that take groups from 10 to 70 guests.
The classic beef tartare, with caramelized shallot aioli, crunchy onions and grilled bread, heads a tartare menu that also runs veal, smoked bison, yellowfin tuna and vegetable versions plus a tasting trio. The Elisa seafood tower brings Kusshi and Northern Belle oysters, shrimp cocktail, tuna tartare, cured hamachi, spring salmon and whole Nova Scotia lobster. Northern Divine white sturgeon caviar, farmed sustainably in British Columbia, arrives with toasted brioche, and the guide recommends the bone-in tenderloin, beef Wellington and coniglio brasato.
Elisa runs daily from 4:30 PM to midnight, with dinner from 5:00 PM. Wine director Franco Michienzi took the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Vancouver Sommelier Award.
