Best of Vegas This Weekend: Sept 11-13
Martin Garrix and Alesso hold court at OMNIA, LIV runs a Carin Leon takeover, and OMNIA Dayclub lands its Tiesto set at the new pool.
The Strip runs warm and dry this weekend, the kind of September night where the pool decks stay open late and the club terraces earn their keep. Martin Garrix and Alesso anchor back-to-back nights at OMNIA, Fontainebleau turns Sunday into a Carin Leon takeover across LIV Nightclub and LIV Beach, and the newly opened OMNIA Dayclub finally has a Tiesto afternoon on the board. Add The Chainsmokers and Marshmello on the Encore pool and you have a slate that rewards a plan over a wander.
Friday night
OMNIA at Caesars opens the weekend with Martin Garrix under the kinetic chandelier, the big-room sound that fills the main floor while hip-hop runs in the Heart. Book an early table at Pinky Ring, Bruno Mars' lounge at Bellagio, steps away across the bridge, and let the Hooligans warm you up before the walk over.
LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau counters with Codiciado, a corridos-forward night that pulls a younger, dressed crowd deep into the room. Pair it with dinner at Komodo on property, the Miami import a floor or two away, and you never have to leave Fontainebleau.
Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan brings Deorro for a high-energy set that suits the multi-room layout and the terrace overlooking the Strip. If you want theatrical dining first, Catch at Aria is a short walk and runs a room built to be looked at.
Over at Encore, EBC at Night puts Loud Luxury on the open-air pool stage. Anchor the evening with a seafood dinner at PISCES at Wynn, Chef Heller's bi-level room, before you cross into the beach club.
Saturday - day to night
Daylight is where this weekend earns its reputation. OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars, the property's newest pool, lands Tiesto for a headline afternoon, and it deserves top billing on the day slate. If you want the arena-style pool, LIV Beach has Dom Dolla working a house set that plays well off the tiered seating, while Encore Beach Club counters with The Chainsmokers. Add Afrojack at Marquee Dayclub, Martin Garrix at Tao Beach, and Kygo at Palm Tree Beach Club, and the harder call is which deck to commit to.
When the sun drops, OMNIA reloads with Alesso, a melodic-house set that suits the terrace and the Strip views behind it. Cross the bridge from dinner at Pinky Ring at Bellagio and you have the smoothest Caesars-side sequence of the night.
Hakkasan at MGM Grand hands the room to Chencho Corleone for a reggaeton-led night that fills all five levels. Warm up close with dry-aged steaks at Bavette's at Park MGM, which keeps a late-night program running through 1am.
For a slower burn, Marquee Nightclub at Cosmopolitan brings Mustard, and dinner at Catch at Aria sets the tone before you head in.
Sunday wind-down
Sunday belongs to Fontainebleau. LIV Beach hosts Carin Leon Presents: La Cura Fest by day, then LIV Nightclub carries the Carin Leon takeover into the night with special guests, a rare same-artist day-into-night arc. Book Komodo on property between the two sessions to reset.
If you want a quieter close, OMNIA Dayclub runs Cedric Gervais for a Sunday afternoon that leans breezy rather than peak-hour. End the weekend with the Hooligans playing nightly at Pinky Ring, a lounge that asks nothing of you but a good seat.
The pre-game
Three rooms are worth booking before the doors matter. Bavette's at Park MGM does bone-marrow butter and dry-aged cuts with a late kitchen, ideal on a Hakkasan night. PISCES at Wynn is the seafood play before anything on the Encore side, and Catch at Aria remains the theatrical option a short walk from Marquee. Any of the three sets you up without a rushed reservation clock.
