Country Splash Cabo 2026: the lineup, the VIP program, and the week around it
Country Splash lands on the beach at Paradisus Los Cabos over Labor Day weekend, September 4 to 6, 2026, the first time a multi-day country festival has taken over the sand in Los Cabos. It is capped under 3,000 guests, so it plays closer to a private beach party than a stadium show: five sessions, one stretch of sand, and the Sea of Cortez a few steps from the stage.
The weekend runs as five sessions across the holiday:
- Friday night, September 4 - Tucker Wetmore
- Saturday pool party, September 5 - Diplo
- Saturday night, September 5 - Jon Pardi
- Sunday pool party, September 6 - Vavo
- Sunday night, September 6 - Riley Green
Who is actually playing
The lineup is built the way the weekend is: two nights of headline country, two afternoons of dance music, and a Friday opener who is the most current artist on the bill.
Tucker Wetmore opens Friday. He is the newest name here and the fastest-rising. His debut album What Not To arrived in April 2025 and produced a run of singles including "Wine into Whiskey," "Wind Up Missin' You," "3,2,1," and "Brunette," which was released as a single in January 2026. He followed it with "Sunburn" in March. A Friday-night beach set from an artist this early in his run is the kind of booking that looks better in hindsight than it does on the poster.
Diplo takes the Saturday pool party, and it is less of a left turn than it looks. Alongside Major Lazer and Silk City, he has run a country crossover project under his own name, Thomas Wesley, since 2020 and has spent years collaborating with country artists. He is not a dance act parachuted into a country weekend; he has been building toward exactly this bill for most of a decade.
Jon Pardi headlines Saturday night, and he is the traditionalist of the group. The catalog runs through "Head Over Boots," "Dirt on My Boots," "Night Shift," and "Last Night Lonely," and he is a Grand Ole Opry member. If one set on this weekend is going to sound like straight country played by a band that means it, this is the one.
Vavo runs the Sunday pool party, closing out the daytime half of the weekend on the dance side.
Riley Green closes the festival Sunday night. He has had the most active 2026 of anyone on the bill: "Change My Mind" in January, "If I Don't Leave I'm Gonna Stay" with Carly Pearce in March, and "My Way" in April as the lead single from his fourth album, That's Just Me. That sits on top of a catalog that already includes "There Was This Girl," "I Wish Grandpas Never Died," and "Different 'Round Here." Closing night, on the beach, is the right slot for it.
The VIP program
We run the Country Splash VIP program, and for a festival this intimate the VIP layer is where the weekend is won. We put your group in it:
- The Sky Deck - elevated private tables above the crowd with a direct line to the stage, front and second row, each with a dedicated host and bottle service. Up to 12 guests.
- The Cabanas - your own shaded poolside space at the Cabana Club, steps from the Splash Stage and pool, with private seating and bottle service. Up to 8.
- The Day Beds - a relaxed poolside daybed for your group with dedicated service, right in the middle of the action. Up to 6.
- Splash Island - the private island in the middle of the pool, the single most exclusive space at the festival. Up to 15.
For a festival capped this small, the best real estate goes fast.
Tell us the sessions that matter and your group size, and we build the weekend around you: the space and the service, plus hotel and villa packages, airport transfers, and everything around the music.
Where it sits, and why that matters
Paradisus sits on the Cabo Real corridor, the stretch of coast between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. That is about fifteen minutes up the road from the Cabo San Lucas marina and roughly twenty in the other direction to San Jose del Cabo's old town.
The practical read: you are staying on a quiet beach, not in the middle of the party town, and you can reach either end of Los Cabos easily. It also means the festival does not have to be your entire trip.
The rest of the week
Labor Day weekend is the front end of a full week for most people who fly down for this, and the days on either side of the festival are where a Cabo trip is won or lost.
Daytime, on the days the festival is not running
Tamara Beach Club is the closest thing on the corridor to the festival's own energy, and it is the natural day-before or day-after. SUR Beach House is the more composed version, and Corazon Cabo Beach Club sits on Medano Beach in the middle of everything. Mango Deck is the loud one, and it does not pretend otherwise.
Dinner
El Farallon is carved into the cliff face above the Pacific and is the single most requested reservation in Los Cabos, so it needs the most lead time. Flora's Field Kitchen is the opposite end of the spectrum, a working farm in the San Jose foothills where the menu is dictated by what came out of the ground. Sunset Monalisa has the Arch view. Nobu Los Cabos and Rosa Negra Cabo are the two that run latest and loudest, which makes them the right call on a night that continues afterward.
Late
Mandala Cabo and La Vaquita Los Cabos run later and harder in the marina district, and Amante Speakeasy is the quiet counterpoint for a group that wants a last drink, not a last set.
How to plan it
The festival sessions, the VIP spaces, and everything around them run through one thread with us. September in Los Cabos is warm, humid, and quiet on the tourism calendar right up until this weekend, which is precisely why the festival works and precisely why the good tables are gone early.
Use the form below to request your Sky Deck table, cabana, or daybed, and a host comes back with availability within 24 hours. Tell us your dates and party size and our Los Cabos partner arranges the dayclub and nightclub side of the week around it; each restaurant's page has its own booking link.
