Michelin Star Restaurants Miami (2026): The 6 We Recommend
Miami has fourteen starred restaurants in a 62-room Guide selection. We book six, and four of them hold a star.
Miami's MICHELIN Guide selection runs to 62 restaurants, and fourteen of them are starred: one at two stars and thirteen at one. That is a serious number for a city whose dining reputation was built on scenes rather than kitchens, and the shape of the list has shifted with it. The starred rooms are small, chef-owned and spread across Coconut Grove, Buena Vista and the Design District, not clustered on the beach.
We book six of the 62, and four of those six hold a star. Below is each one by its exact tier, what the kitchen actually does, and a direct link to the table. Last updated September 2026.
One Michelin Star
Four of the city's thirteen one-star restaurants are on our roster. Each is a small room where the chef is in the kitchen, and each books differently.

Ariete is chef Michael Beltran's Coconut Grove restaurant, a Cuban-American kitchen that honors his heritage through local ingredients and classic French technique. It sits on Main Highway in the leafy Grove and holds one star in the 2026 Guide. This is a chef-driven dinner with a real sense of place, the kind of room built for a milestone or a considered date night. The dining room is dimly lit and lush with greenery, there is a patio as well, and the cooking is the headline while the decor stays out of the way. The menu follows the seasons.

Boia De sits in a Buena Vista strip mall, between a laundromat and a medical center, marked only by a neon-pink exclamation point over the door. Inside is a narrow, forest-green room with tables and counter seating, plus a handful on the patio, and it fills as soon as the doors open at 5:30 PM. It is the work of chefs Luciana Giangrandi and Alex Meyer, and it has held a star since the first Florida guide in 2022, including its 2026 star. The kitchen describes its cooking as modern American with a strong Italian influence, and the wine program follows that lead with terroir-driven bottles.

Los Felix runs a small kitchen on Main Highway in Coconut Grove and carries a rare double honor: one star and a MICHELIN Green Star for sustainability. This is ancestral Mexican cooking rooted in Meso-American heritage. The menu is built around the milpa, the traditional intercropping system that puts corn at the center of everything. An in-house molino cooks and grinds maiz daily for tortillas made from scratch, the wine list leans natural, and vinyl records set the soundtrack. The room is intimate, which keeps the focus where the kitchen wants it.

COTE Miami puts the conviviality of Korean barbecue and the hallmarks of a classic American steakhouse in the same room, and its Design District outpost holds a star to back the claim. It is a proper occasion restaurant, right for date nights, deal closings or a milestone worth the reservation. The dining room opened in February 2021 and mirrors the formula of the New York original, with a smokeless grill built into every table so the meat cooks in front of you. The signature order is the Butcher's Feast, four cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu grilled tableside.
Bib Gourmand

Mandolin Aegean Bistro cooks the food of the Greek and Turkish coast inside a restored 1940s home on the edge of the Design District, and the Guide lists it with a Bib Gourmand. Anastasia Koutsioukis and Ahmet Erkaya opened Mandolin in December 2009 and turned the old house into a whitewashed space drawn from the coastal towns where the Greek islands meet the Turkish coast. Guests come in through blue gates and bougainvillea, and the heart of it is the outdoor courtyard: mature trees, orchids and wooden tables. It is built for a long, unhurried lunch as much as a relaxed dinner.
Selected by the MICHELIN Guide
Sunny's Steakhouse sits in Little River, from the team behind Miami's Jaguar Sun. It began as a pandemic-era pop-up, quickly became one of the city's hottest reservations, and returned in permanent form in October 2024, serving a raw bar, wood-fired proteins, steakhouse classics and handmade pastas. The restaurant runs indoors and out, with half the seating outside around a brick courtyard shaded by a banyan tree. Inside, the design nods to mid-century modernism and Palm Beach Regency, while the courtyard keeps its industrial edge.
How to plan a Miami Michelin run
The geography does most of the planning for you. Ariete and Los Felix are both on Main Highway in Coconut Grove, close enough to walk between, which makes them the one genuine same-night pairing on this page if you want lunch and dinner in the Guide. COTE and Mandolin sit in and beside the Design District, roughly fifteen minutes north. Boia De is in Buena Vista between the two, and Sunny's is further north again in Little River.
Boia De is the hard one, and not because of a release calendar. It is a narrow room that opens at 5:30 PM and fills immediately, so it rewards either an early sitting or genuine flexibility on the date. The starred Coconut Grove rooms want more notice than the Selected and Bib listings do. High season runs roughly December through April, when Art Basel and the spring calendar fill the books at once.
