COTE Miami puts the conviviality of Korean barbecue and the hallmarks of a classic American steakhouse in the same room, and its Design District outpost at 3900 NE 2nd Ave holds a Michelin star to back the claim. The Miami dining room opened in February 2021 and mirrors the formula of the New York original, with a smokeless grill built into every table so the meat cooks right in front of you. The signature order is the Butcher's Feast, four selected cuts of USDA Prime and American Wagyu grilled tableside and served with banchan, a savory egg souffle, and two stews with rice; bigger appetites go for the Steak Omakase. The tableside grilling turns dinner into a running performance.
The kitchen leans on beef from its in-house dry-aging room, and the beverage list is a destination of its own, with wine running past 1,200 labels. The bar pours through Magic Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. The energy is polished and social, a mix of couples, groups, and regulars who know to order the dry-aged ribeye.
Lunch is served daily and dinner runs every night of the week. Standard reservations cover parties of two to six, and groups of seven to 18 book the Large Group Dining tables through the restaurant's events team.
