Wynwood's contemporary sushi and omakase room
Uchi is one of the few sushi rooms in Miami that treats non-traditional Japanese cooking as a discipline rather than a gimmick. Set in Wynwood at 252 NW 25th Street, in the arts and gallery district, it is the Miami outpost of the brand founded in Austin by James Beard Award winning chef Tyson Cole and run by Hai Hospitality.
The Wynwood space was designed by the Austin firm Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, and the format is built for sharing across the table, moving between cool and hot tasting plates, sushi, and sashimi rather than following a single fixed progression.
